"Just throw a pillow at her. That's what I usually do anyway." "I don't want her to hate me." "Elisa, it's a pillow, not a brick. I'll do it." I felt something hit my head and opened my eyes to see Sandy standing beside the bed holding a pillow and Elisa and Sakina sitting on Elisa's bed.

"Good morning, sleepyhead." Sandy said with a smirk and tossed the pillow at me. I groaned and buried my head under the covers. "Come on, we have to be down in the lobby in 30 minutes." I slowly sat up, rubbing my eyes. "30 minutes? Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" "Elisa tried, but you were dead to the world."

I let out a sigh and swung my legs over the bed. "I guess I needed the extra sleep." I said, trying to shake off the grogginess. I quickly got ready and Elisa handed me a bottle of water and a granola bar to eat on the way to the game as we walked out of the room. "Thanks, Elisa." "No problem, Jules."

I made a lot of mistakes during the game and we ended up losing 2-0. I felt as if I had let the whole team down, and a sense of disappointment washed over me. As we got back to the hotel, the others were chatting and laughing, but I couldn't bring myself to join in.

Elisa and I walked into our room and I tossed my phone onto my bed before taking my coat off. "You can shower first if you want. I'm going to call my mom." I nodded and grabbed a fresh set of clothes before heading into the bathroom. As the hot water cascaded down my back, I couldn't help but replay the game over and over in my head.

I got out of the shower feeling defeated and tired. I walked back into the room and Elisa was no longer on the phone with her mom. "All yours." "Thanks." She got up and grabbed her pajamas, walking past me and into the bathroom.

I sat down on my bed and grabbed my phone to scroll through social media to distract myself. But before I knew it, tears were streaming down my face as I read comments from disappointed fans. Seeing their disappointment and hatred towards me made me feel even worse.

I heard the bathroom door open and quickly wiped away my tears, trying to compose myself before Elisa walked into the room. "Hey, are you okay?" I took a deep breath and shrugged. "Just had a tough game, and seeing all the comments online doesn't help."

Elisa sat down next to me and put an arm around my shoulder. "Jules, you're one of the best players I know. Don't let the opinions of others bring you down." "But I made so many mistakes, and I feel like that's why we lost." "We win as a team and we lose as a team. We didn't lose just because of you. And I know it's easier said than done, but try to focus on the positive comments and the people who believe in you. " I nodded and Elisa smiled at me before getting up. "Wanna go get snacks from the vending machine and have a movie night? Maybe it will help you get your mind off the whole game and comments thing." "Sure."

We went and got snacks from the vending machine and watched a couple of movies before deciding to call it a night since we had to be up somewhat early for our flight.
