THERE WAS A three day period without a supernatural interference, which was considered a miracle in Demigod standards.

Schoolwork went on. Belle and Percy met with Grover and Annabeth every afternoon for smoothies, to watch a movie, or to just take a walk in Central Park. On Thursday, Percy had his first swim meet, which Belle of course watched. He was impressive, but obviously had to tone it down — son of Poseidon and all.

It was so nice that the weekend and the farmers' market was a forgotten thought. Well, until Friday at lunchtime at most.

AHS was a closed campus, and everyone was supposed to eat together in the cafeteria. A lot of the seniors liked to sneak out at lunchtime, but Belle and Percy stayed put. Well, more so on Percy's side of things, who didn't want to risk getting kicked out so early in the year. It was a small school, so people who were absent stuck out.

They sat together at the same lunch table. Percy was eating his peanut butter and banana sandwich. Belle had one as well, and was absentmindedly eating it was she read Better Than the Movies.

"Here's a refill," a familiar voice said.

Belle tore her eyes away from the book and looked up, only to see Ganymede above them. He poured something from a big glass pitcher into Percy's soda can before moving on to Belle's water. His pouring was done with total concentration and perfect precision, not spilling a drop, although the liquid was definitely not soda or water.

"Um, thanks?" Percy replied.

Ganymede nodded formally. "You're welcome. I want an update on your quest . . . but I'll be right back."

Belle shared a glance with Percy. She merely shrugged before shutting her book, placing her bookmark in. Belle finished her sandwich as Ganymede walked throughout the cafeteria, refilling everyone's drinks without permission. Some of them looked at him weirdly, but most of them didn't even notice, thanks to the Mist, which also blocked his Greek chiton and strap-up sandals.

Ganymede came back to their table and sat down across from them. "So."

"What are you serving?" Percy asked. "You're not going to turn the whole student body immortal, are you?"

He sighed. "Of course not, Percy Jackson. I told you, it's the Chalice that has the magic."

"That's not nectar in your pitcher? Because mortals will burnup if they drink that."
