As I was walking to the bathroom to skip my class, I saw the new kid he looked a bit mean but at the same time he looked lost I should help him why not? I think to myself as I start walking toward him, planning to help him. Soon I reached him and asked him

"Hey there are you lost. I could help you find your class". I said that with a smile but he looked at me like I was the most disgusting thing in the world with a scowl And as if that was the stupidest question ever.

He then proceeded to bring his schedule closer to himself, like he was trying to stop me from taking it from him or snatching it from him. He continued to look at me like that then he started backing away from there as if I was some sort of predator or some creature that was going to attack him or suddenly pounce on him.

My smile faded away as he backed away from me, still looking at me weirdly and looking at me with some hatred like I was some sort of competition against him.His head was still turned back looking at me while he was walking away,he looked mad and disgusted.

"Uh ok......" I got embarrassed but I didn't want to show it till he was gone...finally, after a few minutes he finally went across the hallway and turned the corner.'Be nice Amelia' 'Be kind Amelia' Be kind my ass if I'm ever going to get embarrassed like that again. I will literally cry

She thought to herself as she started walking towards the bathroom, hella embarrassed. Once she reached the bathroom she started smoking, she knew she shouldn't but it was just so addicting to her It was her high, and It relieved her of all the stress she never had. To be honest, she knew she didn't have any pent-up stress, she was just addicted and she liked it it gave that feeling of euphoria.

The smell of cigarette smoke filled the bathroom as Amelia took a deep drag on her cigarette, feeling the nicotine rush through her body.

She had been smoking for about 15 minutes, lost in thought, when she heard the sound of approaching footsteps. In a panic, she quickly extinguished the cigarette, flicking the butt into the toilet.

She waved away the smoke, splashed water on her face, and left the stall, pretending to wash her hands."Hey Mrs. Jessica," Amelia greeted the coach with a friendly smile, hoping to appear innocent."Hey, there's smoke in here. Was anyone smoking?"

Jessica asked, looking at Amelia with a hint of suspicion.Amelia's heart raced as she tried to come up with a convincing lie. "Y-yeah, someone was just smoking in here, but they told me not to tell anyone," she stammered, tilting her head to one side.Jessica leaned against the door frame, arms crossed, and looked at Amelia with a hard gaze. She knew all too well that Amelia was a skilled manipulator and was determined to catch her in the act.

"Really? Who was it?""Uhm... it was the new guy. I don't know his name. He threatened me, so I didn't want to say anything," Amelia lied, hoping to avoid getting caught."Hmm, I'll look into it," Jessica said before leaving the bathroom. Alone and filled with regret, Amelia cursed to herself, "Why did I say that? Shit! I should have been more careful."

She knew that her reputation was on the line and that any slip-up could ruin her carefully crafted image of being likable and obedient.

As she stepped out of the bathroom, the cool air hit her face, and she let out a deep sigh, feeling the tension in her body dissipate.

She glanced around the empty hallway before her feet led her to the water fountains. The sound of running water filled her ears, and she stood there, lost in thought.

She couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt that lingered in her mind. She knew it was wrong to blame the new guy for what had happened, but she couldn't help feeling a twinge of resentment towards him.

At the same time, she also knew that she couldn't take the blame entirely on herself. The situation left her feeling helpless, unsure of what to do next.

She stood there, watching the water flow, hoping that it would somehow wash away the confusion in her mind.
