"Come here" he says opening his arms for me

I have never hugged any guy like this, I mean I did hug him last nigh willingly because I needed that comfort but even now im not second guessing it

I reach out and wrap my arms around his neck, his around my back

"You smell" he says making me frown as I smack his back

"You are atrocious" I mumble shaking my head

"Whatttt? You didn't even let me complete my sentence, I was going to say you smell so good" he says covering up his words

"Liar" he chuckles  pulling me back into a hug

"Feels normal huh?" he asks

"Sure does" I mumble

He mumbles a soft goognight to me before pulling away, I whisper goodnight to him laying down on the bed. Jsut like yesterday we were facing each other, the lights dim and I inch closer to him hating how dark it was until he flicks the dim lights on

I don't remember when my eyes closed, I wasn't fully a sleep when I felt some shuffling beside him before I heard his whisper and felt his lips on my head

"Goodnight wifey" a smile forms on my lips

I couldn't say anything because I was already falling into a deep slumber

My phone was going off like no one's business, it scared me at first but then I grabbed it putting it on my ear hoping it didn't wake manik up

"Hello" I mumble looking at manik to see him fast a sleep

"Nanduu"

"Cabir?"

"Yes, I forgot my keys" I chuckle a little looking at time to see it was 4 in the morning

"Give me a second, I will be right there" I say

"Thank you"

"No problem" I mumble cutting the call

Yawning I got up and walked down to the main door, Cabir smiles as soon as I open the door

"You are my saviour nadnini, if that idiot woke up he would kill me right now" I giggle hearing him

"He wouldn't" I close the door locking it again

"Are you hungry?" I ask

"Starving but it's okay I will eat in the morning" he says

"We should never go to sleep on an empty stomach not when there is food at home mhm go up and freshen up, ill make you something" I tell him

"No, Nandini you opened the door, that was enough for me, i'l have some protein shake or something"

"Cabir I thought you thought of me as a friend" I mumble

"More than a friend, you are my best friend" he says hugging me

"Then go up and freshen up and I will make you something super quick"

"Argh gosh you are an angel" he say running up making me chuckle

I put my hair in a high ponytail and grabbed some noodles because they are the quickest to make. I even grabbed some leftover pizza from last night and put them in the oven just for a few minutes

"Mhm that smells so good" he say making his way in the kitchen

"Did you have fun?" I ask as I make the Maggie

"So much fun, I didn't tell you where I was going did I?" He asks

"Nope"

"It was a house party and let me tell you the gross things first" I nod giggling wanting to know

Cabir has always been such a good friend of mine so whenever him and I talk it's always really funny conversations

"This girl puked and when I say puked I mean she threw up everything in her stomach all over the floor" I gagged a little making him laugh really loud

"That's kind of disgusting, ewww why do people drink if they can't keep it in?" I ask

"She had like 9 shots in front of me and I got there late so I don't know what she had before but it was safe to say she was hammered"

"Did she get home safe" I couldn't help but ask

he smiles kissing my cheek making me smile back

"You know Nandini you are the sweetest person I have ever met. She didn't need to get anywhere because she was the host of the party" now I couldn't help but chuckle along with him

"Well I guess she planned that well" I say

"She sure did hahha, oh and there was a really cute girl" he mumbles

"Ohhhh did you get a chance to talk to her?" I ask

"Nope, still too traumatized by the last rejection" he says and I tried not to laugh but I couldn't

I burst out laughing making him frown

About two or three weeks ago cabir and I were talking about something and he told me how he was sad because he asked a girl out and she refused.

"She was married cabir"I laugh

"Okay how would I know? She wasn't wearing a ring and she was flirting with me" he defends himself

"How was she flirting?" I ask

"She said she liked my shirt and it brought my eyes out"

"Hehe I'm sure she was joking"

"Hey my ays are nice"

"They are, im talking about the shirt brining your eyes out"

"maybe she was thinking about divorce?" Cabir say

"What the fuck is going on here?" We both jump a little

seeing it's manik I took a deep breath trying to calm down

"What the hell are you two doing?" He asks walking over to us rubbing his eyes

I don't know if I should say this but he looked very cute

"Mhm we got hungry" I say

He looks at me and then at cabir.

"You called my wife to open the door for you?" Manik asks cabir

"Wrong, I called my best friend to open the door for me" cabir mumbles back

"Are you stupid?"

"No, I am handsome" I giggle hearing Cabir's reply

"Cabir this is stupid as shit, you can't wake up nandini because you forgot your keys and now she is making you food, it's almost 5 in the morning cabir" he scolds

Cabir pouts a little but doesn't say anything

"I mhm I offered to make him food, he didn't ask I promise and I wasn't bothered by it" I tell him

"Nandini don't defend him like that"

"Hey stop it, she said it was no bother so shhh she is making me yummy Maggie, you have a bite too" he mumbles

"Cabir call me next time not her, it's so early man" he mumbles sitting down

"Shhh it's okay, cabir you can call me anytime and you did you want some food too?" I ask manik

"No, gosh im tired" he says

"Well toodles kids, I got my Maggie I will eat up in my room. Thank you nandu" cabir says hugging me

"Of course, oh and have fun talking to you know" I tease knowing he is going up to eat because he wants to talk to his lady crush

"Shut up" he mumbles turning bright red

"Have fun" i say cleaning up a little and washing the pan I made Maggie in

"I will, gosh this pizza is amazing" he utters comping on it going up to his room
