She slept in the forest that night.
He hadnt even slept that night.Regina awoke feverishly and slightly cold and still heartbroken. She couldnt get her thoughts together to try and work out what had actually happened. Once she had reached their special place she had cried for 4 hours straight. And Robin hadnt even come to find her.
Robin was sitting on their balcony watching the sunrise with his face stained with tears. How. Why. He couldnt understand anything anymore. He had hurt Regina. The love of his life, who he swore to protect from sadness and pain. He never thought he would have to protect her from himself. He began to sob again. She was right, maybe it was for the best, but those were his men! He couldnt believe he said she wasnt Roland or Henrys mother...and he had called her the evil queen! He felt sick just thinking about what he had said to her. Those slaps had really woken him from his rage filled trance.
He had spent about 5 mins after she had left going over what just happened and then began to smash stuff because he was so angry with himself. Half an hour later he had ran out trying to look for her all over the castle. He was so worried. She was heavily pregnant, alone and upset. He wanted to hold her and apoligize over and over. But he couldnt find her.
He had spent all night looking and was now waiting for her to return. His gaze fell over the forest. He needed their special place right now.
Robin approached the clearing and gasped and ran towards Regina who was lying on the cold ground. She had gone to their place, god he was so stupid how could he not have worked that out. He bent down and gently tried to wake her up. Ge began to grow frantic as he shook and she would not wake. "Regina.....regina......REGINA!" he felt her cheek.
She was ice cold.
