Never again would Regina set her eyes upon her beautiful son Henry. She had cried for an entire week, stopping only to breathe or re-fuel her fluids. The following week consisted of almost starving herself to death. Then came a week of bitter silence. But it was after that third week she began to think of all the good times she had had with her son.
Like the day he made a snowman out of his mashed potatoes and forced Regina to not chuck it away untill it went from a pale white to an envious green. Or the time he made his first apple turnover. Those memories were what mattered. It still hurt though and she still ached to be with him. It had been a hard year but the concept of many more was soul destroying.
But Robin Hood had annoyingly made it all easier. Thanks to him she came to terms that her son would always love her even if they were apart. She knew he would think of her as much as she thought of him. But Robin was also right, he was right that she had to pick herself out of her year long pity party and start to look forward. Henry was always in her heart and she would never forget about him. And Henry would want her to start again, move on and find happiness again. As annoying as it was to come to terms with she knew she had to and Robin Hood and Roland were the only way she could do such a thing.
Over the year she and Robin had secretly been dating. They were so in love it was ridiculous. They couldnt fool anyone. In the precense of others they fought and bickered but alone they were all loved up. They both had absolutely no idea that everybody knew about their love affair and were secretly happy that Regina had managed to find happiness.
Robin and Regina were sat alone at midnight on her balcony staring up at the moon just sitting in each others embrace. "Regina?" She turned and smiled at Robin. "yes?" he let go of her, moved and knelt in front of her. Reginas eyes widend. "Regina this past year had been an emotional ride to say the least. But when I thought there was not much else in my life other than my boy and men you.....stumbled screaming and fighting into my life." Regina giggled, "I was unable to stop thinking about you and when you finally said you loved me I was filled with happiness that I never knew existed! with out you I feel incomplete. Regina my love. you are my other half. my soul mate. i want to hold you on your darkest days and laugh with you on your happiest. I never want to spend or waste another day of my life knowing you arnt mine. I love you more than words or even my heart can express. Will you marry a poor common thief?"
Regina was crying at this point, tears rolling off her gigantic smile. She nodded frantically. "YES! YES YES YES!!" Robin smiled and picked her up and spun her around. "I love you Robin Locksley!"
