"It's over, isn't it?"

"Don't talk like that old man, there's still time left. There's still a world for us to save!"

Where am I now? I remember . . . I remember being sent through another memory. Was it . . . Father figures death . . . That's right. This is where it ends.

"We're saving a world we destroyed in the first place. We should've never joined the council. "

"Oh come on, it's not that bad! There's still time for us to turn this world into a fun one! A lawless world without order! Doesn't that sound nice?"

"It did, at one point. But we aren't kids anymore."

I remember this part. This was my last talk with him before he left. I can still feel the blood pumping through my veins. This broken building, these empty chairs surrounding a destroyed marble desk. This is the part I remember. I just . . . I can't remember beyond this point. Not until he's gone.

"In the past, when you told me of your dream, Gaara, I laughed. I went along with it because it sounded fun. It sounded like what this world needed. Maybe somewhere in my mind, I had hoped you were joking, still putting on the mask but . . . I don't know."

"Come on man, you know me!-"

"I don't where a mask."

"I don't where a mask!"

"What you see is the real me."

"What you see is the real me. Inside and out!"

Not always. I remember a time when we couldn't decide if we wanted to take this path, but we did anyway because we felt so repulsed by a random story we read. December 6th.

I started to walk up to the 2 arguing men. One of them was smiling like a man half possessed. The other was looking away, staring out the room where a wall used to be. He looked sad. He looked old. The other man was the opposite. He looked joyful. He looked young. Nothing more then a red haired fool, trying his hardest to keep a straight face.

I was getting closer, close enough to reach out and touch him, but the maniacal twit didn't notice.

"Hey." I get closer. "Hey!" I repeated, a little louder, adding some bass to my voice. He still didn't notice me. I tried grabbing him, but my hand went right through him, like nothing happened. It was like I was watching some sort of . . . Hologram. For some reason, I couldn't interact with the memories like I did last time. It passes me off.
