Me kanime, and manaka are temporarily staying at Akari's house.
The whole sea is frozen over!
We tried to break it but it's very thick and very deep.
And to make things worse Tsumugos stuck down here because the train is offline due to the harsh weather.
Lord Oroko warned the weather patterns were gonna get more dangerous as the years pass and I didn't want to believe him.

Why would tsumugo and chisaki be here?
Seems the old age is getting to Tsumugos grandpa.
He was put back into the hospital.
They came to visit him.
Anyways, I'll be home as soon as the weather on the surface subsides, and as soon as we can break through the ice... Love you dad.

I sent the message through phone to my dad.
I sighed before looking at Manaka sleeping peacefully.
I stared at her watching her sleep.
I knew it was weird but she was just to pretty.
I smiled faintly.
I couldn't help but ponder on what Tsumugo told me earlier tonight.

-Flash back I-

I jumped off the pier and onto the ice.
"It's completely frozen?!"
I kept jumping on the ice but eventually slipped and fell hard on my back and head.
I winced.

"Damnit Damnit Damnit!!"
I punched the ice hoping for at least a scratch but there was nothing.
I could barely see through the ice it was so thick and deep.

Everything is going down hill since yesterday.
"Damnit!"
Manaka ran off somewhere and I don't know where.
I could cry right now.
"Why!!!!!"
"Why is the sea frozen!!!!"
I cried.

     "Simple.."
I looked over my shoulder to see Tsumugo standing on the pier.
"Combination of a Decline in tempature, drastic weather changes permit constant cold air and tempature."
"Doesn't help that the sea was almost already frozen two days ago."

"Only takes a few minutes for a lake or even a sea to freeze over in these weather conditions."
"With how small this sea is there's probably a much higher percent rate of it completely freezeing over."
"And by the looks of it, it seems the ice goes deep and is very thick."

"It's a good thing alot of people who came to the land have regained their ENA or we all would be dead by now."
I hated how smart Tsumugo was, he always made me look dumb in front of everyone.

In the last Ofuneheke the sea god was appeased and everyone that was banished from the sea, losing their ENA, regained it Making it possible for everyone to travel beyond the sea.

"How long have you been here Tsumugo?!"
I asked as I rubbed my head.
"Answer me god Damnit!!"

     "...."
"I was just trying to check up on you."
He replied.
His silence spoke loud.
"You knew the whole time?!!"
"And didn't think to let us know!?"
"Our family is down there!"
"Our entire lives are below the sea!!"
"Damn you!!"

"Fuck you!"
"How could you!!"
I couldn't think of anything else to say except swear words.
"That and all of this is so fucked up!!!"

     "Hikari."
"There's something you need to know."
I stared at him frowning.
"Havent you spoke enough!!??"
I wanted to punch his fucking face so bad.
"It's important."
This had to be what he was talking about at dinner.
"Go on."

Everyone was probably asleep, except me.
I stood up and headed for the kitchen.
The windows were frozen shut.
It was so cold inside the house I was shivering even with two jackets on.
"I hope chisaki and tsumugo are staying warm."
I said aloud not realizing it.

I looked out the window sitting above the kitchen counter. It was snowing a combination of salt flakes and snow.
I sighed.
It was all gone but now it wants to come back all of the sudden.

It's a nightmare we're unable to escape. All of us. Me, manaka, kanime, chisaki, tsumugo my sister Everybody.
I could feel the tears forming in the corner of my eyes.
It's scary knowing your fate.

Just when we thought we reversed the after affects it comes back.
I gripped the sink.
"Damnit...!"
I shout quietly.
My tears dropped into the sink.

     "H-hikari?"
I snapped out of my thoughts.
"Uh... manaka.."
I couldn't face her.. not in the way I was.
I don't want her to worry about me.

     "Are you crying Hikari...?"
She asked in almost a whisper she was so quiet.
I dropped my head in defeat knowing I can't hide anything from her.
"It's ok Hiki."
I felt manakas arms wrap about my waist.
Her warm face pressed against my back.
"Manaka..."

I remembered her words from earlier today during dinner.
She said the world was ending and that we were all gonna die.

"Do you actually think we'll die?"
Manaka shook her head violently.
"No I don't."
Manaka was a bad liar.

"Your lying because earlier tonight you said the world is gonna end and we're all gonna die."
She sighed.
I could feel her tears on my shirt.
"Im sorry about that...!"
"I was being emotional."
"I don't want to believe that!"
I sighed.

"You have a right to be manaka..."
"All of us do."
"Our lives are changing."
"And I have a feeling it'll be changing for the worse."
She buried her face in my back.

"Tsumugos has no right to tell us we can't go home...!"
I gripped the sink.
"Fuck him!"
"I'm gonna find a way to get us home...!"
"I promise..."
I just hoped I could keep it.

-Flash back II-

"I know this all seems scary right now."
Tsumugo tried to reassure me
"What the hell do you mean we won't be able to go back to ShiyoshiShiyo ever again?!!"
I grabbed him by his shirt.

     "My dad is down there!!"
"Manakas too!!"
I was about to start punching him again.
"Calm down Hikari.."
I heard kanime behind me.

"So everyone's here now?"
I asked.
"I was going home but than realized I can't."
"I then saw you two talking."
"I couldnt help but listen to what y'all were saying."
"And I think Tsumugos right."
I frowned letting my grip go of Tsumugos shirt.

"What the hell kanime!!"
"Your family is down there too!!"
"Your gonna abandon them?!!"
I shouted.
"No... just keeping us safe."
"We don't need to get stuck down there two."
"We'll find away to get them back but right now we can't..."
Kanime was right and I knew it.
He's always calm in the most stressful situations.

"Damnit.."
I put my hands on my pockets.
"Fuck you kanime..."
I chuckled a little bit.
"Your gonna take his side?"
"I-
"Fineeee...!!!"
I groaned.

"Let's just find Manaka."
I was still angry.
He has no right to tell us we can't go home.
I was just trying to avoid a fight.

-end of flash back two-

I heard a knock on the door.
"Who could that be this late at night."
I walked to the door opening it.
"Fuck off Tsumugo..!"
"Why are you here."
I didn't even notice chisaki standing next to him.

     "We're homeless."
"Gramps sold the old house."
I groaned.
"Great, more people to cram into one house."
"It's a good thing my sister owns a huge house."
I unlocked the door and let them in.
Something is telling me they'll be staying here for a while.
