"Stay indoors, this storm is heading straight for Oshioshi."
I sat in the living room with my arm in a sling.
The news was turned on by my sister.
I wanted to cook but I was unable to do so because of my arm.

     I felt vulnerable.
"Dinners almost done!"
Akari yelled from inside the kitchen.
I sighed before pressing the power off button on the remote standing and heading to the dining room table.

I joined everyone at the table.
"How's your arm Hikari?"
"It must be hurting now that you're off the drugs."
I shrugged.
"Meh it's nothing."
I always tried to act tough but man it really did hurt like a son of a bitch.

Akari sat a pot In front of us.
I don't know what happened In that moment but all of the sudden a wave a nausea hit me like a ton of bricks.
The smell of the food worsened it and I sprung out of my seat running down the hall way to the bathroom.

     "Hikari?!"
My sister yelled from down the hallway.
I kneeled in front of the toilet lifting the lid and puking.
"Are you ok?!"
The sound of her footsteps coming towards the bathroom.

     "Yeah...!"
"I'm fine..."
"I feel sick all of the sudden...!"
"I'll skip on dinner I'm just gonna head to my bedroom!"
I yell back from inside the bathroom.

I heard her footsteps moving farther away.
"Fuck..."
My stomach was killing me.
Didn't help my arm was also hurting.
Sucking through the pain I stood up and headed down the hallway to the bedroom.

The wind outside began growing heavier.
The salt flakes dropped faster and faster as I laid down on my back in my bed, looking directly through the window sitting on the left wall of our bedroom.
Why did I feel so terrible.
We can't go out to try and break the ice because of the storm.

My dad and the people I know are slowly dying under the sea, we can't save them because the sea is frozen, we can't leave our houses to break the ice, my arm is sprained...... could this get any worse?

     Soon enough....
We will die.
The human and sea people race will be no more.
Everyone will freeze to death and nobody can stop it.
I wanted to ball up and cry.
Let all my emotions out.
But I had to be strong.
I'm the one who's suppose to keep my freinds happy.

I'm supposed to keep them safe.
God, I just hope I can keep them safe.
Just hearing their voices while they ate without me brought me comfort.
Knowing I'm not alone in this makes me feel better.
Hearing manakas cute voice....
I can't lose them too.

Letting a sigh out I rolled over to my side looked at the hard wood flooring. The one thought in my mind.
That one plaguing thought.
"Am I going to wake up tommorow...?"
I closed my eyes.
The sound of my freinds eating soon became no more as I drifted to sleep.

I awoke to kanime and tsumugo pushing me awake.
I looked up at the window, it was pitch black.
Rubbing my eyes and yawning I looked at my surroundings noticing Manaka chisaki and Miuna all sitting around.
My expression changed from looking tired to looking confused.

"What is all of this...?"
Asking hesitant as I looked tsumugo in the eyes.
"Wake up, we're planning."
I sat up in my bed.
"What do you mean planning.?"
I raised an eye brow.

"You said you saw it towns people down in the sea when we were able to break through the ice, correct?"
I nodded.
"Yeah, but I couldn't recognize any of them."
"I could only make out the silhouettes."
Tsumugo looked like he was about to throw up.

"T-tsumugo...?"
I asked.
Kanime had the same expression as well as all the girls.
"Me and kanime went back to that same spot, we weren't even at the spot where your sea village is."
I threw my covers off my legs immediately regretting it as I felt like I would freeze to death.

"We were west of Shiyoshishiyo..."
Their facial expression was copied onto my face.
"So... where was I?"
"And what the fuck was I looking at..."
I felt scared.
"Another village....."
My eyes widened.
