"Don't worry about those kids they're just jerks."
"They do the same things to us."
He smiled but he looked almost sad at the same time.
We were walking home from school.

Today, wasn't exactly the best of days.
"I got you suspended though."
I shook my head.
"No I was just sticking up for you."
"The teachers only come when the Bully's been punched."

Kanime chuckled.
"For real!"
"They always gone after the bully's bullied someone."
"They never get the real picture."

There was a slight breeze.
"Anyways."
"Don't worry about it."
"I was only suspended for like 3 days."

Flash back III

"Fish people stink."
"Go kill yourself."
Nopo was surrounded by two of the schools biggest jack asses.
"Techenically, you're a fish person too."
Nopo said aloud.

I was just around the corner in case anything started to get worse.
Well I kinda over heard their conversation and felt like I should stay just in case.

"No we aren't."
Nopo smiled.
"You all once were."
"But your parents abandoned the sea and had you too disgraced children."

"I mean honestly, just because I'm different I should kill myself?"
"Get real."
Nopo was defending himself surprisingly.
He began walking past them.

I always thought of him as the type who would listen and just walk away ignoring them.
"Hey man, wanna fight?"
Nopo froze.
"I decline."
He said before continuing to walk.

The guy smirked.
"Fine than I'll get the first punch in!"
He ran at him with his fist drawn back.
I ran out and punched the side of his face.
"K.O!!"
I laughed.

"Are you okay Nopo?"
Nopo looked devestated.
"I didn't think he'd actually try to punch me......"
He looked kinda traumatized.
That's when the teacher came.
"Great, now it looks like I'm the bad guy huh?"
The teacher nodded.

"Come with me Hikari."
I groaned.
"See you after school than."
He didn't acknowledge I was talking.

"Yo Nopo are you sure you're ok."
We finally arrived home.
"Yeah, I think so."

I wasn't believing it his face wasn't saying the same thing.
We walked inside.
"We're back sis."
No one answered.

"She's probably working late."
"Tsumugo just joined the team at the shop so she probably showing him around."
"I mean his jobs pretty easy."
"Restock shit when's it's depleted."
"Shouldn't be that hard to learn."

Kanime laughed.
"Yeah, he should be able to get that no problem."
Manaka smiled at Akira who ran down the hallway towards her.
"W-what?"
"They left Akira home all by himself?"
Manaka raised an eye brow.

"That is strange."
"Itaru should be here."
I replied.
"Itaru!"
Manaka shook her head.

"Itaru is so dumb."
Miuna said as she came down the stairs.
"I was watching him all day."
"Itaru had something come up at work."
She said.

"Oh that's why you weren't at school today."
She nodded.
"Yeah sorry about that."
"I didn't really tell any of you."
"Did y'all worry."

I frowned.
"Of course not you little brat."
She frowned and got up in my face.
"Shut up you jack ass."
Manaka pushed us apart.

"You two are hopeless."
Kanime said.
"Anyways."
"Im going to take a nap let me know when Akari gets here."
Kanime left the room.

The tv news channel was running in the back ground when we entered the living room.
"Weather forecast tommorow is 63°."
"The sea will be about 50 to 55° by 12pm tommorow and will lower into the 20s at 6pm."
The news lady has been on top of the weather reports ever since the last time it got so cold everyone could've died.

"It's relieving to hear the weather temps going up."
I said as I flopped onto the couch.
"I just hope we'll be able to find our family's soon."
I was excited for dinner my sister would cook tonight.
Yet... she never showed up.
