- You sure? - Paul asked for the hundredth time probably. Now Dwayne was at the steering wheel, after the dawn sitting there and letting you rest a bit. You smiled at Paul, curling at the passenger front seat.

- You asked that already, mon amour. I am sure. What is that you so nervous about, this is fourth time you ask me.

- Well...

- Your family is extravaganza, - David interrupted, explaining. - We care for them, yes, but their style isn't anything like our style. And your extended family... Probably the same. Your so-called party is probably not for us.

- Oh, stop it. You know, parents and other Addams never looked at appearance, think about the Thing. We have very large family, there are different people and not-people in it, so you won't stick out like a healed thumb.

- Sore, - automatically corrected you Dwayne.

- Whatever you say, dear. Turn left here, it's shorter, - you smiled at him and looked out of the window. Addams Family Gathering was held one time in couple of years, so it was important every Addams visit. Boys got their invitation along with yours, confused, but you just reminded them that your parents already counted them as Addams, there was no getting out of it.

- I offered you to colour your jacket, Paul, you refused, - Marko giggled, still sitting in his "bed". You offered to buy them coffins, but they thought it was another stupid vampire stereotype, so they took only couple of gurneys, covered them with blankets, fabrics and some messy things. You let them do that, not interfering with vampires' habits.

- It would stay permanently, no, - he scoffed, while you readied yourself, seeing the manor showing from behind the trees. You pulled out a mirror, fixing your hair and everything you wanted to fix around your face.

- We aren't the latest, aunties from the Foul Swamps aren't here, yet. How funny, they are usually the first ones.

- Swamps? - David got out from the car first, giving you a hand. You climbed out and took Paul's hand too, walking with them to the door, Dwayne and Marko following closely behind you.

- They are from south, - you didn't knock on the door, as it opened right before you and Gomez appeared with a wide smile.

- Y/N! My boys! You came! - he hugged you tightly and than shook hands of the boys. - Come along, the party is already here!

- Loud, as always, - you laughed, coming through the corridors to the lit ballroom, full of guests. Morticia pecked you on the cheek, standing near the entrance.

- You are just in time, we only served drinks, - she turned and took the tray with four glasses with dark red liquid. - For our special guests, - the boys looked at each other and took the glasses. Addams' treats were always the best in their book.

They have to get used to the music. Yes, it is classical for the most part, but it sometimes take an unexpected turns. So it takes them some time. Then they have to meet every Addams that come to say hello to you. Sisters, brothers, cousins, aunties... You weren't lying when you said you have a big family. David remembers the nights of balls from another century. This night is just not that usual for him with not so usual guests, that's it. You all have a good laugh when twin-cousins tug Paul to dance with them.Dwayne is the first one to dance with you. He swirls you around, smiling at you and whispering sweet nothings into your ear. You tell him all the gossips about your family as, it turned out, he is all down for rumours. So you two are just dancing around and chitchating.David is the next one, he holds you harder and closely to him. He always watches others, how they look at you both and how they react. You tell him to relax just a bit and... Surprisingly he does just that - relax, as he understands that no one is weirded out by anything. He still remembers these memories from long ago, and he thanks you for reminding him of that time.Marko is swapping you from your feet the second David kissed you goodbye. He is less accurate in this kind of dance, so he fidgets a little around, stepping on your feet or shivering. But you laugh with him and teach him on a go with ease. He is excited to meet so many new faces, plus... He loves your family, after Morticia and Gomez stood up to Max he is ready to get adopted by them, so no surprise he likes it here. In the end he dances like a pro.Paul got to you the last one, busy with these sisters. You can see shock on his face and a little bit of fear from all of this, relatives, music, dances, suddenly thrown up at him, but you calm him down. You just hold him in your hands and carefully circle your fingers on his back. So eventually he calms down.Told you it would be fine, mon amour. It is great, I love it. And I love you...They really do love it. They spend time with you, with your family and just have a good time. Morticia makes sure they know where to refill there glasses if needed, so they are good.David likes to speak with guests. Explain to them who is he, that he is with you. He lets everyone know that you are busy and they are lucky ones to have you. Talk with them about lives, times and how most of the people out there is garbage. He is made for these evenings.Dwayne just watches. He is the kind of a guy who listens to people, who gathers around him and talks. And talks. And talks. He is a gossip guy, so he makes sure he remembers all of this to talk with you later. Plus he meets Pugsley, obviously, who is still in a jacket like him. And with something red in his glass (it's just juice, to Dwayne's relief). The red fabric on his belt is new though.Paul is jumping around. He goes to one guest, to other one, to the other one... He just doesn't stop. His flirty personality shows the best of him and makes your family immediately love him. In the middle of the night he sees Wednesday, dancing with one of your hundreds cousins, with definitely displeased face. So he swirls her away from him in a dance move and sets her free. She nods in appreciation before leaving the hall. He counts that as a win in their relationship.Marko has been down for this evening from the beginning, so he is all down for it now too. He stays with you, asking who's this and who's that. He gets especially excited when he sees Gomez and Fester dance Mamooshka, watching in awe all of these moves. You can be sure, he would ask your father to teach him how to do that. The night is long, filled with surprises - they still can't get enough of cousin It looks, it amazes them and humours them. And even if they tease him a bit, he's okay with that. With thrills - Dwayne and Paul is racing with Pugsley and one of your younger cousins on their backs, the kids loving the thrill of flights. With long talks - David is surprisingly the heart of the company, knowing what he has to say and to whom. And with dances, of course - they dance with you several times a night. In the morning you stay there, obviously without any strengths to go back. You cuddle with them on your bed, the windows reliably closed by curtains. Paul is already sleeping on your thigh, almost snoring, Marko is in your hands, hugging you closely and you can sense Dwayne dozing off behind your back. David lays down the last one, Marko's between you both. You smile at him sleepily. You still talk with father about that.He offered, not us. Don't worry, it's not tomorrow. We haven't proposed yet.You know my parents very bad, they can destroy life in a minute and plan a wedding in a day. So be careful, mon amour. But you don't think about these plans. You are just content with what you have now. And of course you are glad your family accepted your choice. Not that you would change it, you would choose boys anytime. But it was good - to know your family supported you.
