His Dilemma

For him, she is his everything; however, who knows if her feelings are the same?

Beast Boy couldn't help but wonder as he lay down on the top bunk of his bed, wearing a plain white T-shirt and black boxers as pajamas. Staring at the ceiling, his mind was bombarded with thoughts involving her, the only love of his life, who happened to be the resident empath of the Tower, just a few steps away from his room.

Whenever he thinks of her, he can't help but feel giddy like a little girl and worry like an idiot at the same time. After all, she possesses this sheer beauty, grace, wit, and elegance that makes every Disney princess envious in his eyes. It all started on the day the Teen Titans were formed. Ever since then, he has done everything he could to make her laugh with his jokes and antics, even if the results were sometimes unpredictable - such as being thrown off the top of a tower or sent to another dimension.

From then on, his feelings for her grew like a flower, as both of them finally matured into both respectable heroes and individuals. It became difficult for him to not steal glances at her; not only because of the risk of getting caught by her and the others, but also because if he did, he knew he would never be able to look away from her again.

To this day, Beast Boy has yet to tell his feelings for her, fearing she might not feel the same. He can't even be sure if anything will get in the way of him confessing or if everything else could happen. He's becoming increasingly anxious.

As he happened to glance at a picture frame on his own desk, all of his worries disappeared. Inside the picture, it was the entire team taking a group photo through Cyborg's camera. They were all doing their wacky poses and weird gestures. But what stood out to him the most was none other than Raven sitting on the U-shaped couch, smiling while looking at him. Yes, she was looking at Beastboy, who was smiling back at her. He asked Cyborg to give him a physical copy of that picture, while being teased hard by him and begging not to use it as a blackmail material afterwards.

Regardless, that's all the courage he needs. Tomorrow, he will tell her and God knows what will happen afterwards.

But one thing's for sure: he will definitely tell her everything and hope she feels the same way too.
