"Beom Seok help your sister set the table"

"Okay Mom"

Beom Seok went and helped his little sister. He glanced at his dad curiously. "Mom?" He called. She hummed.

"Will Dad be able to eat today?"

"You can ask, if he's gonna eat today"

He then went over to his dad's chair.

"What is it son?"

"W-Will you eat today?"

"I might" he said.

Beom Seok and his sister continued to set the table till finally they finished. His sister went back to play with her Barbie dolls. Beom Seok helped his mother bring the food to the table.

"Beom Seok"

"Yes Mom?"

"You know your father is getting weaker and weaker and we barely can pay the hospital bills to keep his healthy and strong. I don't wanna jinks it but soon you are gonna be 19 years old soon and your dad's gonna soon be transmitted to the hospital."

Beom Seok nodded. He listened to his mother very carefully. "I ask you to do these things for me because of your father's weakness. You are partially the man of the house now" She continued.

"Don't worry Mom, I'll do everything to help our family" Beom Seok said smiling. "Okay, Dinner time!" She suddenly said.

"Come on Dad!" The little girl yelled. "Wonyoung don't yell" Beom Seok said. "Sorry Oppa" Wonyoung said looking to the floor. They all then sat at the table, including their father. They all then looked at each other waiting for their dad to eat.

It was always traditional in his family to wait until the man of the house eats. If the man wasn't able to eat because of work then the woman of the house ate first.

When their Father finally ate, the rest of them started eating. After dinner Beom Seok washed the dishes. "Beom Seok oppa!" Wonyoung called. "Yea?!" Beom Seok yelled back. "Dad wants you!" She said.

Beom Seok dried his hands then went to the living room where his father was sitting.

"Yes dad?"

"C-call an ambulance" he said before passing out.

"DAD?!"

(At the hospital)

"Is he gonna be okay?"

"I don't know, the doctors are refusing to tell us anything. They said they'd tell you once his bills are finally paid"

"We already told you that we didn't have the money and that when we got it that we were gonna pay!" Beom Seok's mother was now shedding tears. "Well come up with something fast! The doctors are ready to pull the plug on your husband!" The doctor said.

Beom Seok waited in the waiting room area with Wonyoung. She also had tears falling down her face. "Oppa...will Dad be okay?" She asked as sniffled. "I hope so" he replied. Beom Seok hated seeing his Mother and little sister cry.

They didn't even notice the man that had been listening to their conversation. 'their dad is sick huh? I can probably help' he thought.

"Beom Seok, take your sister in the room to see your dad for the last time" Their mother said as she stormed out of the boss office. "okay, come on Wonyoung" He said and she went with him.

When they got into the room they saw their father lying on the hospital bed weakly. Wonyoung immediately broke out in tears again. "Dad!" She cried and went to hug him.

"Oh my Wonyoung. Don't cry princess"

"I don't want to leave you!"

"Me neither princess. Dad is gonna get better. Okay?" He said and Wonyoung nodded with tears in her eyes. "Make sure you listen to your big brother and your mother okay?". Wonyoung nodded. "I will Dad, I will listen to them!" She said. Their dad smiled and hugged Wonyoung. Afterwards he kissed her puffy cheeks.

"Beom Seok"

"Yes dad" Beom Seok answered now walking up to the bed. Their father suddenly started to feel like he had shorter breathes.

"B-Beom Seok....take care of your mother and s-sister. You're the man of the house now"

"I-I will Dad! I'll protect them with all I got!"

Beom Seok's Dad put on a weak smile.

"Excuse me, visiting hours are over" The doctor said. Beom Seok nodded and hugged his Dad.

While leaving the hospital Beom Seok noticed a person walking in with a mask. He looked older. He wondered what he was up to.

After weeks later the door bell rang. Beom Seok's sister went and opened the door. "Oppa there's a cute person at the door!" She said. She then continued to flirt with the guy as Beom Seok dried his hands. Beom Seok then came to the door.

"Go away! Go help Mom with dinner!"

She huffed and walked off. Beom Seok then looked at the guy. It was the same masked guy that he saw at the hospital.

"Can I help you?"

He didn't say anything. He only handed him a folder. Beom Seok opened it. His eyes widened. "Y-you paid off all our expenses? Even my D-Dad's hospital bills? But how? That must've cost billions!" Beom Seok said. "I have my ways" He said. "Thank you so much!" Beom Seok said with a genuine smile. He wanted to hug the guy so bad.

The guy then left. "I didn't even ask his name" Beom Seok uttered. "What is it honey?" His mother asked and he closed the door and gave her the folder. Her eyes widened. A gasp came out of her mouth.

"Oh my goodness!!" She exclaimed. "This is a miracle! Where is he?!"

"He left mom" Beom Seok said. "wait so does this means Dad can get treated and he'll be able to come back home?!" Wonyoung suddenly said. Their mother nodded and she screamed.

They all then hugged each other.

After few months later after Beom Seok's birthday, their father was finally home again. This time he was healthy and strong.

During dinner one night, their dad came up with a new rule. They've decided that they would pray first then eat instead of them waiting for him to eat.

"Oh and one more thing. How did you pay off all our expenses?" Mr Choi asked. "We didn't pay it off. Someone else did" Mrs. Choi said as she passed around the meats and veggies.

"That's very nice of him" Mr Choi said.

Beom Seok couldn't help but smile. His Dad was better and the women in his life weren't sad anymore. Untill he turned 20.

One day while walking home from work, he heard cries that sounded very familiar. He went towards the cries and what he saw broke his heart. His sister was on the ground crying. Her clothes were ripped, blood fell from her nose and dripped down her legs. She was in critical pain. He suddenly then ran towards her.

"What happened?!"

"T-they wouldn't S-Stop!"

"Who?!" He yelled. "The four guys! T-they were drunk! They wouldn't stop!" She cried. He then picked her up and carried her to the house. When they entered, they were greeted by both parents.

"Oh my god!"

"What happened to her!!"

Beom Seok explained everything. Mr. Choi was furious.

"I will kill me some people!"

Who would've know Beom Seok would change after that. He started killing people that dared to hurt his family. It soon turned to him killing people who didn't have his money, or who didn't trade properly.

He had now created his own gang. He was the leader of the gang.

The Seok gang.
