I stood in my room pacing thinking. 'Dex get ahold of yourself' I scold myself. I hear a knock on the door."Who is it?" I ask through the door.

"It's me," Biana's voice replies.

I open the door and she walks in. She looks happy, and she's holding a bag of sweets."Hey, Biana," I say, trying to sound casual. "What's up?"

She grins and hands me the bag of sweets. "These are for you," she says, her teal eyes sparkling. "I thought we could share them while we catch up."

"Catch up?" Bex asked.

"3... 2... 1...," I count down. Bex screams as she phases back through the wall. Being a technopath can have it's advantages. I grin and look at Biana. "What did you want to talk about?"

"I'm not sure," Biana smiles sheepishly. "I just wanted to see you."

"You could've said that," I tease, taking a piece of candy from the bag. "This is really good, by the way."

"Thanks Dex," she replies, blushing slightly. "I baked them today"We sit on my bed, munching on the sweets and chatting about random things. The room is filled with the sweet aroma of sugar and vanilla. After a while, the conversation dies down, and we find ourselves staring at each other."So, what was it you really wanted to talk about?" I ask, my voice barely above a whisper.

"I wanted to ask you about this morning," she says, her voice shaking slightly. "In the forest."

"And what about it?" I ask, my heart racing in my chest.

"I wanted to know if you were okay with what happened," she says, her eyes filled with concern.

"I'm more than okay with it," I reply, leaning in closer to her. "I just don't want anyone to get hurt."

She nods, her eyes never leaving mine. "I know, Dex. And I don't want that either."

Before I know it, our faces are inches apart, and she's looking up at me with those teal eyes that hold so much power over me. Without thinking, I lean down and press my lips against hers. She responds eagerly, her hands finding their way into my hair. The kiss deepens, and I can feel the heat between us growing stronger.

When we finally pull apart, we're both breathless. "Was that okay?" she asks, her voice barely above a whisper.

"More than okay," I reply, my voice rough from the kiss.

"Good," she says, smiling up at me.

With our emotions out in the open, there's an undeniable sense of relief between us. We finish off the rest of the sweets, laughing and joking like we used to when we were kids. The weight of our secret is gone, and all that matters is the connection we share.

I lean back against my headboard, watching Biana as she lies on her stomach with her chin propped up on her hand. She looks so peaceful, her hair falling over her shoulder and onto the bed. I can't help but think about how lucky I am to have her in my life.

"Biana," I say softly, my voice barely above a whisper.

She looks up at me, her eyes filled with curiosity. Before wincing and covering her ears with her hands. "Sorry," She started to hum and disappeared.
