the strong survive

She made it to class early so her and mina talked. A blond boy entered the room locking eyes with Fei. The rest of the class came in and clearly didn't understand what inside voices were. A boy with blue hair began yelling at the blond who had his feet are the desk. Fei, getting annoyed at the noise, snapped and yelled "Desks don't care! You're the only one who cares! Now sit down and wait QUIETLY for the teacher." The whole class went silent, looking at her shocked at the sudden outburst. But they sat down and talked quieter. The boy with the blue hair came up to her introducing him self as Iida Tenya.

"I don't care." Fei replied in a bored tone.

A few minutes passed and after the last couple students had come in and were talking, a giant yellow caterpillar inched into the room. It rolled onto its side and showed an exhausted mans face. He commanded the class to change into their gym uniforms and meet him outside. He then inched back out of the room and down the hallway.

When they got to the field they saw an attractive  tall man with dark unkempt hair and tired eyes. The caterpillar had been him, in a sleepingbag. He introduced himself as Shota Aizawa, their teacher. He went on to explain that they would be participating in a quirk assessment test. And whoever was in last place would get expelled...

"The first competition is going to be a ball toss. Use your quirk to throw it as far as you can. Bakugo, you're first."

Bakugo stepped forward with a smug look on his face. He took the ball in his hand, pulling back his arm and as he released the ball an explosion erupted from his hand propelling the ball out of sight.

 "DIE!" Fei gave a little laugh. Her nose picked up a chemical smell from Bakugo. 'So, not a real fire quirk. More like an explosion quirk?' She thought to herself. Certainly not as powerful as her fox fire. When it was her turn, Fei used enough strength to pass the test, but not to stand out. And didn't even show them her flames. Fei looked around. Something smelled familiar. It was him, All Might. Fei tried to look at him. Fear flickered in her eye, knowing he could tell she was going easy. Next was the race portion. Fei once again was up against Shoto. Distracted, she forgot to slow herself to get middle of the pack, and ran full speed. She reached the finish line within seconds to achieve one of the top scores in running. Fei walked over to Mina who had been cheering for her during the whole competition. She thanked her then sat quietly for the rest of class, avoiding looking towards where All Might had been watching from.

In the hall on the way to Heroing 101, Shoto caught up to her. "Fei. Why did you not go all out during the assessment?"

"I don't have anything to prove so, I don't need to go all out." She walked to the classroom not giving him time to say anything else. When everyone made to class and had all been seated, All Might came through the door yelling. "I am coming through the door normally!" He was not coming through the door normally. He was leaning in the door, holding the door frame. That was the moment Fei realized that any chance of a good school year was gone. Fei's head went to her hands in embarrassment. "Why are you my father?" she mumbled to herself.

A lightning haired boy leaned forward whispering to her "Did you say he's your father?"

"Yeah... wait!"

He began yelling excitedly, soon she was surrounded by the whole class being bombarded with questions. All Might glared daggers in to her from the front of the classroom.

"what is it like?" "why has no one heard of you?" "You're so lucky!" "I'm so jealous!" "Do you aspire to be as good of a hero as him?" "Do you get a lot of attention?" "Do you get his merch free?" "What other hero's do you know" "Has a villain ever attacked you?"

Fei shrank down in her seat and pulled her blonde fox-like ears down to block the voices. She didn't like all of the attention being on her. She looked around for help. Mina was waving her hands and gently trying to get people to stop swarming Fei. All Might was at the front of the room glaring directly at her. Bakugo finally stood up and yelled "EVERYONE SHUT UP!" And they did, long enough for All Might to put on his biggest smile and get the classes attention. "Thank you, young Bakugo!" He then reviled the hero boxes telling everyone to grab there's and go change.

Everyone filed out of the room. Mina and Shoto waited out side for Fei. Shoto asked Mina "Is she ok?"

"I don't know, this doesn't happen often." Mina looked worried.

They both went back in to the class room to where Fei was still sitting with her head in her hands.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know what to do" Mina tried to comfort her best friend. Fei looked up, helplessness written all over her face. Shoto put a hand on her shoulder. "I know what it's like." Fei nods. He would understand, since his father was the number two hero, Endeavor. She got up they all walked towards the changing rooms. Mina tried to take Fei's mind off it (the costume is at the top ).'' Your hero costume is so cute!" "Yeah, yours is too." They walked out, All might explained the training, the teams were Izuku Midoriya & Ochako Uraraka (Team A) vs. Katsuki Bakugou Tenia Iida (Team D), Shoto Todoroki & Mezo Shoji (Team B) vs. Mashirao Ojiro & Toru Hagakure & fei (Team I) , Fumikage Tokoyami & Tsuyu Asui (Team H) vs. Denki Kaminari & Kyoka Jiro (Team G) ,. Yuga Aoyama & Mina Ashido (Team E) . And so the training began.
