As I open my eyes I'm greeted with not my loud obnoxious roommate making out with his girlfriend but what looks like millions of stars.
Starting to look around my jaw drops. There aren't just millions of stars around me but the colors that fill the sky range from purple to blue texturing the surroundings perfectly.
While looking at my surroundings I glance down and notice this view isn't just in the sky but all around me, starting to panic a voice comes from behind me.
"Don't worry as long as I'm here you won't fall."
Looking back at the mysterious figure I notice a young boy in a school uniform.
"Am I dead?"
The boy looks at me for a second before speaking in his squeaky pre-pubescent voice.
"No you are not dead, I brought you here."
"Why and how did you bring me here? Also, how are we standing here?"
I start to question the boy as my confusion begins to pile up.
"Slow down there buckaroo. Have a seat before we talk."
Before I could respond, cozy-looking couches appeared before me, as well as a table in the middle filled with sweets and pastries. Sitting down the boy starts digging in, grabbing himself everything within his reach.
"So are you going to answer my questions?"
I look at the kid as he stuffs his face, a little glutton.
"Yesh I weil jush gif e a second."
As he swallows his food he repeats himself.
"Yes I will soon answer all your questions, but first dig in, I insist."
Looking before me I hesitantly grab what looks like a plain cookie. As soon as my lips make contact with the food flavor that I've never experienced hits my taste buds.
"What the hell type of drugs do you have in this to make it so good?"
Upon hearing my comment the boy chuckles, "Just the love of god" he winks at me.
With that, the boy lays across the couch getting comfy, and looks at me before saying
"I hope you'll forgive my poor manners; It's just been eons since my last audience with a human. My name is God and it's nice to finally meet you, face to face."
Silence...
After blankly staring at God's sly grin for what seemed like an eternity my brain started to finally make sense of all this.
It isn't all that unbelievable that this kid would be a god. I am currently sitting down in the middle of what seems like the void of space. Well, I guess it could be a dream. At this thought I pinch my arm as hard as I can and flinch from the pain.
At the sight, God lets out a slight chuckle.
"I can assure you this isn't a dream Jacob I simply would like to talk."
I slowly nod my head in acknowledgment after hearing him use my name.
"So let's say you are God, what do you want to talk to me about?"
"Well to start I'd like to tell you I'm a fan of your work. On the other hand, I would like to offer you a proposal."
As I look at God I can't even think of what to say, I'm dumbfounded. Just a second ago a million questions were racing through my mind and now it's blank; there is something about this kid that just throws me off, maybe he really is god.
