Walking in you guys were holding hand. You let go when you saw your mom & dad and gave them a big hug well Alex stood there awkwardly. Alex went to shake your mom & dad's hand but they hugged him ( friendly people ) Alex was surprised but he liked the family vibe. Your family wasn't very formal so instead of some intense awkward dinner you guys guys went mini golfing and pizza. They treated Alex like part of the family so you know they liked him. Your parents don't usually do that when you would bring home a new friend or boyfriend they would always be so awkward and that was when you knew that they didn't like them. You were sure that they saw how much Alex meant to their little girl and that made them happy.
