Jungkook rushed through the hospital entrance carrying Lisa in his arms.
Jungkook: Doctor! Somebody help her!

Several nurses immediately ran over with a stretcher, they gulp seeing Jungkook but they keep they're self calm
Doctor: Sir, please put her here.
Author Pov.
Jungkook carefully laid Lisa down as the medical team quickly wheeled her toward the emergency room
Doctor: We do everything we can. Please wait outside...

For the first time in years, Jungkook felt helpless. The operating room doors closed in front of him. Hours passed. Every second felt longer than the last. Finally, the doctor stepped out of the operating room. Jungkook immediately stood up
Jungkook: How is she?
Doctor: The surgery was successful. Her condition is stable now

Jungkook let out a breath he didn't realize he had been holding
Doctor: However, there is something you should know.
Jungkook: What is it?
Doctor: Due to the head injury, she has suffered memory loss. At the moment, she doesn't seem to remember anything from her past

Jungkook's expression froze.
Jungkook: Memory loss?
Doctor: Yes. We don't know whether her memories will return tomorrow, in a few months, or at all. Only time can tell

Jungkook remained silent
Doctor: You may see her now, sir
Jungkook: Hmm
ICU Room

I quietly entered the room. Lisa was sleeping peacefully, unaware that her entire world had changed. The sight of her lying there made my thoughts even more complicated. For years, revenge had been my only goal. But now? The one person connected to that revenge couldn't even remember who she was. I stared at her sleeping face. How was I supposed to hate someone who didn't even remember her own past? Before I could think further, Lisa slowly opened her eyes
Lisa: Ugh...

Lisa blinked several times before looking around the room
Lisa: Where am I?

Her eyes landed on Jungkook
Lisa: And... who are you?
Jungkook: You're in a hospital
Lisa: Hospital?
Jungkook: You were in an accident

She looked confused for a moment before pointing at me
Lisa: Then who are you?
Jungkook: I'm Jungkook

Lisa studied my face carefully
Lisa: Are you someone important to me?
Jungkook: Why would you think that?
Lisa: Because you're the first person I saw when I woke up

I didn't know how to answer. After a few seconds, I spoke
