Light Steve pov
I and the colorless guards have been searching the forest for most of the morning and found nothing. I am not happy that he felt like he was forced to run away... I found out by the Violet Leader who seemed overjoyed that Sabre is gone. I and my guards are not happy... we want him there. We need to find him. We need to bring him home. We have to find him before it is too late. I gave the command to set up camp near the lake and then figure out our plan. We will search the forest again tomorrow. We will not stop until we find him.
Hours later....
I was watching the forest and saw a small fabric of what looked like Sabre's jacket. I set off to investigate and saw a clearing where the jacket was lying. I picked it up and noticed something was inside. It was a note that read: "I'm sorry, I can't stay." He doesn't want to stay.... but why?
His coat also has flowers that are only found in my old village... orange flowers. I know he is still hurting after Rain died. He knows it is not his fault.
"You are coming home, please...." I said in a soft voice. I feel like someone is watching me. I turn around and there is no one there. I start to walk away, feeling a sense of loneliness and sadness. I know that I have to stay strong, but I can't stop thinking about him.
Sabre's POV
The meadow I am in is not sealed off and anyone can walk in. I took off my jacket and forgot my letter for M was still in my pocket. I walked away to build my shelter in a tree. Once I was done I saw Light sitting next to my jacket... he found my letter... the flowers. I can hear him saying
"You are coming home, please..." I can't and I won't. I am determined to stay away and not go back. I need to start fresh and find a new life somewhere else. I have to keep running and hiding until I find a safe place.
