meeting the swifts (pt.2)

taylor's pov :

sunlight spilled in the room ,making my eyelids red .i rubbed my eyes on travis' neck and scrunched up my toes and rubbed my legs against his .my eyes lashes fluttered and i opened my eyelids to see travis smiling and looking down at me .i giggled and put my head back in his neck .

"what time is it ?"i said and cleared my throat .

"eleven ,guess you were really tired "he said and started tickling my back .

"mhh"i groaned and put my cold feet imbetween his legs .

"do you want to get up yet ?"he whispered into my ear .

"no ,but i will " i said and kissed his cheek and rolled out of bed .

he soon got up after me and i got in the shower and then started getting ready .it was hot today so i put a short ,white summer dress that was flowy and it has little blue flowers on .i just brushed my hair ,keeping it wavy and put minimal makeup on with some wedges with a small heel .

travis was wearing some black,baggy shorts with a button up shirt and a cap with some trainers .

"are you ready ?"i said walking out the bathroom and he was sat on the made bed on his phone .

"yeah "he said and put his phone in his pocket .

"wow "he said getting up from the bed and smiled walking over to me .

i looked down blushing and he put his arms around my waist .

"you look handsome "i said and put my hand on the back of his neck .

"you are ..i can't even find a word "he said and bent down and out lips locked .

after a couple seconds ,i pulled away and grabbed my phone .

"we hardly have any photos together " i said and snapped a selfie of him kissing my cheek .

"okay let's go "i said and gave him another quick peck and we walked out the bedroom .

"i really like this dress "travis said and we walked to the kitchen hand in hand .

"me too !i haven't worn it in ages "i said and looked up at him in excitement.

we came in the kitchen and saw my dad getting toast out the toaster and my mum frying eggs .

"there you are darling "my mum said and hee face lit up .

"here i am !this looks great guys "i said and sat down .

"good morning guys "my dad said and laid out the toast .

"good morning ,thanks for making me food "travis said and rubbed the back on his neck nervously so i put my hand on his leg .

"of course we would !you think we aren't going to treat our daughters boyfriend the best "my mom said and laid  out our plates .

he looked down and smiled .

god i love him .

"mh you are really good at cooking "travis said taking a bite of the eggs on toast .

"i want some credit for that toast "my dad said and pointed at us and i laughed to myself .

"of course ,the toast really bring the dinner together " i said and nodded sarcastically.

a couple minutes later ,travis had devoured his food .
"that was really really good andrea "travis said and put his arm around me.

"well thank you ,i'm glad you liked it "andrea said .

"i'm just going to the restroom ,i'll be back "i said and kissed travis on the cheek .

-while she's gone -

"so travis ,when's your next game "scott said and took a sip of his coffee .

"in 3 days "travis said and smiled .

"ah well we wish you luck "andrea said and poured herself a coffee .

"much appreciated "travis said .

"so are you guys going out today ?"andrea asked .

"well i think taylor wanted to show me some of her favourite places in nashville "travis said and scratched his arm .

"ah i'm sure she will ,she loves it here "scott said and smiled warmly to himself .

"yeah she's told me for weeks how excited she was to come back "travis said .

"so em ..are you having fun with taylor "scott said and looked up at travis intensely.

andrea hit his leg under the table as a sign to stop .

"oh em ..yes"travis said unsure of rhat the right answer was .

"hm interesting.."scott said and took another sip of his drink .

"n-not like too much fun ,i mean i do have a lot of fun when i'm with her !wait ..no i mean ,not like ..erm .we have a lot of fun together but i also think of this as a serious relationship and i love her "travis said nervously .

andrea and scott looked at eachother and smiled .soon after,taylor came back .

"you just need to new door on that bathroom ,i basically had to throw myself at it to get out "she said laughing to herslf as she sat back down .

she looked over to travis smiling widely and saw sweat dripping down the side of his head .

"we are gonna go look around nashville soon ,can i borrow the car ?"taylor asked her parents .

"yes ,just be careful and bring micheal (the bodyguard )"her mom responded .

"momm do i have to ,nashville is safe "taylor said with her puppy eyes .

"yes young lady ,you do "her dad said firmly .

"i'm not a 'young lady ' i'm 30!"taylor said and laughed .

"your still our baby and you never know who knows your here ,your bringing micheal "her mum said in a serious voice .taylor knew that voice and there was no point in trying to get out of it .

"okay "taylor said and sighed ,accepting her fate .

"can you please go and get my purse and coat  from upstairs travis "taylor turned to him .

"of course "travis said and smiled and taylor gave him a very quick kiss and he left .

"what did you guys say to him "taylor turned to
her parents as soon as she heard footsteps going upstairs.

"nothing much .."her mom spoke vaguely .

"dad..."taylor turned to her father  .

"i only asked him if you guys were having fun "her dad said and put his hands up .

"well we are "taylor said .

"yeah sure sounded like it last night "her said said and  and scoffed .

her cheeks turned instantly red and she put her head in her hands .

"nothing happened"taylor said into her hands .

"ok ok enough "andrea said .

"well anyway he said that he does have fun with you ,but think of this as a serious relationship and he loves you deeply "Andrea said and took taylor's hands in hers .

"he did ?"taylor said and looked down smiling and blushing .

"yes ..which is why we approve "her dad said and smiled and winked  at her .

"thank you "taylor said and went over to them and pulled them both into a big hug .

"i love you guys "said and into their shoulders .
