      THE HUNTINGTON PLAYERS ran towards the girls as Josie carried Jeff on her back, trying to get him off the field. The rest of the girls threw themselves at the opposing players, ready to fight. One of them ran at Peyton but she dodged and kicked him in the leg. He turned around and managed to elbow her in the face, knocking her off balance. She took a few steps back in shock but managed to dodge his next blow and punch him right in the nose.

     Another player pushed her from behind but she immediately turned around and kicked him in the chest, knocking him to the ground. As she went to hit him again, the first one got up and tripped her which made her fall on her back. She let out a grunt of pain and surprise and her eyes widened in fear as the boy stood on top of her and raised his fist to punch her.

      Before his fist collided with the blonde's face, Hazel lunged at him and pinned him to the ground. She got on top of him and punched him in the face multiple times, making sure he wouldn't get back up. Peyton took the opportunity to get up and rushed to hit another boy who was approaching to pull Hazel off his friend. She managed to knock him out and the Callahan girl got up in turn. The two shared a look before going their separate ways when they saw the rest of their friends who still needed help.

       They quickly eradicated the Huntington players and the girls gathered in the center of the field. They were all covered in blood and sweat but they had done what they had to do.

      Hazel crouched down in front of Peyton. "Are you okay?"

      The blonde nodded. "Yeah. You?"

      The short-haired girl nodded in turn but the rest of them gasped when they saw one of the Huntington guys approached her.

     "Hazel!" Peyton grabbed her arm to pull her closer.

      Luckily, Josie ran up and delivered a powerful kick to the guy's face, knocking him to the ground. The girls sighed in relief and all stood up. They looked towards the crowd. Everyone was completely silent and was staring at them.

       Peyton leaned over to speak in Hazel's ear. "Is this a good sign?"

       "I don't know." the brunette whispered.

       Suddenly, the automatic sprinklers started. Tim bent down to the ground to sniff the lawn. "It's pineapple juice! Turn it off! Turn it off!"

      The sprinklers were soon turned off and the crowd began to applaud. As they were all cheering them on, Hazel took Peyton's hand and smiled. "I think that is a good sign."

      The blonde smiled. "Yes, I suppose it is."

       The two looked at each other for a moment before getting closer. Their lips met and Peyton slipped her arms around Hazel's waist. They both smiled into the kiss.

       The Holloway parted her mouth an inch to tell her. "I'll have to talk to Allan."

       Hazel shook her head. "Please don't talk about him now."

       "But what if he comes after you again?"

       "I don't care."

       "But—" Hazel cut her off by cupping Peyton's face in her hands and bringing their lips together again.

       Even though she was worried, Peyton felt her entire body relax under Hazel's kisses. As they were making out, Sylvie ran to them and yelled. "Yes! Yes, queen! Yeahhhhhhhhhh!"

       The couple pulled away with a laugh as Sylvie was screaming. Sofia walked to her cousin and the two hugged tightely.

      "Are you okay?"

      Peyton looked towards Hazel who was hugging Annie. The brunette's eyes met her gaze and as the two shared a smile, the Holloway felt her heart warm up. She looked back at her cousin and gave her the most sincere smile she had ever given her.

       "I've never been better."
