The Millionaires Mistake

Chap 3

Christopher:
When I woke up this morning something felt different. I don't remember what happen last night.
"Did I drink? Oh shit! I hooked up with that girl I met yesterday. Fuck! I'm screwed.
Maybe nothing really happened."
I got out of bed. I woke up the girl I met yesterday, and walked her toward the door.
"Bye now. Don't come calling me again. You got that. Okay. Bye."
I shut the door and headed up stairs. I went into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, then headed in the shower. Ten minutes passed and I got out. I went into my room and picked out a very well fitted suit. I checked myself in the mirror.
"Damn I look good." I said as I was brushing my hair back. I walked out the room and headed downstairs to my kitchen. I popped a bagel in the toaster. When it finished baking I put cream cheese and poured a glass of orange juice. When I finished eating I left the apartment. I locked the door and headed toward the elevator. When I got to the first floor. I said "Good morning." To everyone. I went to my garage and got in my Mercedes. I put the keys in the ignition and drove off to work.

Ariana:
When I woke up this morning I had the biggest smile ever on my face. I wasn't gonna let anyone (Christopher King) ruin it.
"Today's gonna be a good day." I said with a big smile on my face.
I got out of bed, went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, took a twenty minute shower, and did my make up. I went to my room, put on my black fitted pencil skirt with a white button up shirt. Before I went downstairs I looked in the mirror.
"I look good." I said with a big smile.
I headed out my room, went downstairs to the kitchen to make oatmeal. I feed Gizmo after I ate.
"See you later boy." I say as I give him a kiss on the head and rub his belly.
I walked out the door, locked it, and went toward the elevator.
"Oh shit! I forgot my purse." I said with a giggle.
I went back in and got my purse and left. I when I reached the main floor, I said
"Good morning everyone!"
And walked out the door.
"Good morning Ariana." Said Micky.
"Good morning Micky. Have a nice day."
"You too sweetheart."
I walked to my car and put the key in the ignition and drove off to work.

I got to work at 8:20 to be the first one there to get ready. But no I wasn't the only one here. Christopher was here as well.
"Oh look who wants to be the early bird" he said.
"Mhmm. Well I just wanted to be the first one so I can get myself ready. So don't ruin it like you did yesterday. Okay. "
"Okay. But you look beautiful today. Just saying. "
"Thank you. You don't look so bad yourself. Alright I gotta get going bye. " I said as I was walking away.
"Where you going?" He says as he follows me.
"Going to my office. Don't you have work you need to do?"
"Yeah I do b...."
"Then do it." I respond with sass.
"Listen I know that we got off to a rough start, but can we just get along." He said with his sexy deep voice.
"I guess we can." Damn it his sexy husky voice just got to me.
"I'm Christopher King as you know." He said with his hand out for me to shake it.
"Hi I'm Ariana Castillo. " I responded as I shook his hand.
I could feel his muscular hands against mine. He was so sexy. His hazel eyes looked at me like he was looking into my soul. I was imagining things that we would do but I suddenly snapped out of it.
I released my hand from his.
"Okay, ummm... I gotta go. Bye. " Why did I stutter when I said that. I say in my head. I just can't get the way he looked at me out of my head. His jaw line was perfect. His eyes were perfect. Everything about him was perfect.

Christopher:
"Did I do something to make her go away." I say in my head.
Her hands were so soft. I don't know why but she gave me goosebumps. The good kind of goosebumps. I can tell that she's different from the other girls I talk to. She was a tough one.
I walked to my office.
"What is this thing that I'm feeling? I want to get to know her better. Maybe I should ask her out to lunch later? Nah she'd probably think I'm trying to hook up with her? Maybe not. Ima just ask her." I say talking to myself.
I walked toward the door and exited and I bumped into her making her papers fall.
"Oh my god. I'm sorry for that." I said helping her pick it up.
"It's okay. Thanks for helping me though." She said as she giggled. She has the cutest laugh ever.
"Okay good. I was just about to go find you to ask you to lunch later. Um do you wanna go out to lunch later? I mean you don't have too, if you don't want too."
"I'd love too. I think it would be good to get to know you a little better."
"Okay good so at 4:30 I'll swing over to your office to get you."
"Or you can just text me. I mean there's a reason for phones right." She laughed again and it was even cuter.
"Okay. What's your number."
She gave me her number and I put it in my phone.

Everyone started coming in the office one by one. I couldn't wait for 4:30 so I can talk to her again.
"Maybe I should text her now. Nah I feel like it would be weird to. Fuck it Ima do it."
Christopher- hey it's Chris
Ariana- oh hey what's up
Christopher- nothing just got bored lol wby
Ariana- paper work like always you know it's work that what you do lml
Christopher- yeah I know. I can't wait for our little lunch break thingy
Ariana- same 👍🏾 i gotta go bye (don't forget to text me) lml

Ariana:
4:30 came and I was waiting for his text like a thirsty person. "Did he forget. I doubt it."
My phone began to buzz.
Christopher- hey you ready
Ariana- yeah I'm coming out now bye
Chris met me outside by the steps.
"Hey!"
"Hey. So where do you wanna go?"
"I don't know. Your the one who asked me to go."
"Do you wanna go to Bistro Moderne?"
"Hell yeah! That's my favorite place to eat at."
"Really same. I love that place the service is good. The food is excellent."
"Yes! Ima call Uber."
"No need to just hop in my car." He opened the door for me.
"Why thank you sir." I said as I laugh.
"You welcome sweetie."
The way he said "sweetie" was so sexy. I literally melt when he talks.

We got to the restaurant and they got us a table fast. We ordered our food and talked for a long time.
When we finished he called his dad to ask if him and I could leave work early. His father said it was okay. He was such a sexy guy with a busy life just like me. I found out that he's from California and he has three brothers. You learn something new everyday.
He drove me home and stopped outside of my apartment.
"Thanks for today. It was great but I gotta get going now. See you tomorrow."
"Your welcome." He gave me a kiss on the cheek. I melted a little when he did. I wonder if he saw me blush.
He drove off and I walked inside. I went into the elevator and headed to my room. I unlocked my door and Gizmo came running to me.
"Today was perfect. He's so perfect. His lips felt perfect on my cheek."
I wanted him to kiss me the more I kept thinking about him. I went upstairs and took a shower and changed into my sleeping clothes. I couldn't wait for tomorrow just to see him.
