Nillia pov:
Today is the very first day back in school. Well for me. It would be a lie if I would say that I wasn't anxious, because that I most certainly am. Not only about all the kids, but also about the fact that I had never been exactly good at containing my bloodlust, and certainly not with that many students.
I parked my truck in one of the many empty parking lots before I got out, pushing the door close once I did. My hand clasped tight around the pendant of my necklace, a habit that hasn't left me ever since. I would always just get ahold of it and take a few deep breaths to calm down. Even if I wasn't in need of air, she told me to just think about her whenever she couldn't be there and it would get better.
The scent of young blood entered my nose, driving me insane. All these kids, I could kill them all at once, yet I had to prevent myself from doing that.
The animal diet is practically still a new thing to me and I have nobody to help with it, so it's a good time harder now. Regardless of that, I had to at least try and so far I believe I'm doing pretty good - given there are as far as I know, no dead bodies on the ground.
"Hey, new girl" Someone over the parking lot shouted. I spun around, only to notice that it wasn't meant to wake my attention. "Nice ride" He laughed at the brunette girl who also had driven here with a truck and went off with his friends.
"Hey" I walked towards the supposedly new girl, shooting her a small smile. "You're also new?" I questioned when I fully approached her side. Her eyebrows furrowed as she remained to rather stay silent. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help but overhear what he said"
"Oh, yeah, from Arizona" Her smile looked uneasy, however I still wanted to be nice so I returned a kind one. "And you?" She waited for me to answer, but the truth is - I actually didn't live anywhere. I just moved from town to town, hoping the time that I could return to my home would finally come.
"Not from here" I mentally cursed myself for letting my mouth speak, before my brain could think. "Oh" She nodded, her expression a bit puzzled. "I'm Nillia" I quickly said, extending my hand after I just saved us from the silent pause that was about to happen "Bella Swan" I smiled at the girl, "Aiello, ..my last name" She nodded just before I hooked my arm in hers and guided us to the entrance.
I could sense that Bella was an awkward and quiet girl, so I took matters into my own hand, though making sure that she didn't feel uncomfortable. "What's your first class?" I asked, glancing at her. "Uhm, Gym" The brunette responded while biting her lip. Weird girl.
"Mines too" I was hoping that she would not be asking me why I was leading us there and perfectly knew the way to the gym on just my first day, because nobody apart from myself knows that I already went to school here 60 years ago.
