Being in a rush to school wasn't how i planned the first day of school to be. I wanted to get ready and put on cute clothes and my makeup routine i practiced all summer.
Instead i was in a decent outfit my hair was okay but the makeup was not good.. I had to re-do it about 5 times only to wear mascara and highlighter in the end. It wasn't my ideal first day but it will get better.
For breakfast i had a..i had air!! Whatever im thankful for my oldie of a car that still works. And as much as i thought it was going to break down it didn't. Thank the lord.
I went through first and second period like a goat. But third period ohhh did it feel long.. I was hungry thirsty and honestly the teacher was boring me. All of a sudden a handsome and i mean handsome boy runs into the classroom.
I heard his name was kit and hes seated right infront of me. In this class it was duo seats so my friend Lily sat next to me. Kit was seated on the isle seat and i was sat by the window. As the teacher finally lets us do whatever for the last 20 minutes. I talked to lily about how hungry i am and how i hadn't eaten today.
Third period has ended another three and im in lunch enjoying a filthy sub sandwich god, im hungry. Before i can leave class new kid approaches me and i see something in his hand. Im not wearing my glasses i cant see what he's holding from afar as he gets closer though i see a granola bar, Gosh, i could gobble a granola bar right about now.
"Hi im kit"
"I heard im y/n"
"hm i hope this isn't weird but i heard you talking about how you were hungry so," He hands me a honey granola bar.
I wasn't flustered or anything it was a kind act by a kind human. Looking at him close up, he was more handsome than he was from afar.
"Thanks but are you sure? I can wait"
"Uhm Im sure!! Im not hungry and the granola bar is gonna expire if someone doesn't eat it"
"I see..Thank you kit!"
"Uh yeah! You're welcome well bye the late bells about to ring" he spoke looking at his watch i nod and walk away as soon as i get to fourth period i open the granola bar and eat it.
Eat it? More like gobble it. i look at the date of the granola bar. This looks new? This granola was totally not gonna expire. Eh whatever. ʚෆɞ After the same routine was repeated me coming to school late kit offering me a granola bar sometimes even a small juicebox, We became friends, Best friend.
Although i was starting to develop feeling i wouldnt tell him that? What to ruin the friendship no way. Today though i was falling sick therefore i wouldn't make it to school.

After our comical conversation i knocked out. I was sleeping for a good 5 hours until my phone started buzzing. As i see the name kitty flash on my screen i pick up the facetime.
"hello" i spoke first i can hear how groggy my voice sounds. gosh,
"hi, im at lunch i hope i didn't disturb you" Kit spoke
"i was asleep but i'm awake to talk. Hows lunch" Kit wasn't a very shy person he talked to a lot of people but he never considered them his friends. He didn't want to.
"Good im missing you though. I finally ate a granola bar after giving them to you for a good month or two." He spoke again trying to be funny
"Ha ha. Its not my fault i get hungry in the mornings like a beast you liar" i spoke remembering how he said his granola bar was going to expire.
"ME!? a liar neverrr" He holds his hand to his heart.
"YESS YOU! YOU'RE A LIAR"
"HOW??!?"
"YOU SAID YOUR GRANOLA WAS GOING TO EXPIRE YOU LIAR"
The silence after i said that sentence
"to be fair you eere hungry and i wasnt going to eat that granola"
"yah yah whatever granola man"
"GRANOLA MAN?"
"YES YOU ALWAYS HAVE GRANOLA BARS"
"WELL DUH I BUY THEM FOR YOU" He says as he takes a bite out of his sandwich.
"CUTE BUY MEEE MORE HONEY ONESSS" every since the first honey one he brought me new granolas every week.
Every week was a new flavor.
