Chapter 4

Viper POV

Me and Tigress walked towards the forest for some fresh air, and most likely some space from everyone else. I mean, I really don't mind separating from the group and all. But, I sometimes don't like being alone, whenever I feel a bit distress or have something on my mind.

I rather go towards someone and talk about my thoughts and troubles. It makes me feel at ease, safe, and comfort. It makes me feel important when I do get help from my friends. And also loved too.

So I'm glad Tigress invited me to come with her through the forest. If she didn't, I really wouldn't know what to do, since, I still thought about Po's words last night. And....not being able to tell anyone about it, due to me promising that from him. For others too not worry.

Even for me, unless he has a clear answer of his visions he sees. I'll trust him to do that. And to tell us all. And vouch for him when he needs me to defend for him. Whatever it takes to know what he is trying to do. No matter what.

"Viper? Viper, are you alright?". I immediately came back to my senses when I heard Tigress say my name, in a concern but stern tone. "H-huh? Oh!, yeah I'm fine. Sorry, I was just thinking is all. I'm sorry to worry you about me". I said.

"It's alright Viper. You don't need to apologize". She said.

I smiled at her for understanding. "Thanks". I said. "Oh, by the way. Why are we in the forest? Do you just want to walk here? If that's the case, then I'm alright with it if you are". Curious to know about Tigress intentions.

"Actually, there is a reason why I chose to go through the forest. I wanted to show you something." She said.

"Oh really?". I said in a surprised way. "Yep, but we're not there yet. We just gotta walk a few more blocks over there and will be able to see our location". She said pointing straight ahead.

"Oh alright. Sounds good to me!". I said. Exciting to know what she wanted to show me.

PO POV

I helped my dad close the shop as the customers left one by one. "Thanks for helping me close the shop Po. It's been really exhausting and busy lately. I can't believe I've had at least 50 customers come here for my noodles! How grateful I am to have this shop exist here, not to mention, my own son being the dragon warrior also! Makes it ten times more greater for everyone to come here for the both of us. Don't you think so Po?". He said.

I laughed at his response. "Sure is dad. But I think it's more about your noodles that they like instead of me, plus, you absolutely make the bestest noodle soups ever in the whole world of China!". I said proudly.

I saw my dad smile grow bigger hearing me say that. Which I'm glad, and true of his noodles and his shop too being the best as it can be.

"Aww Po! How kind of you to say that. Speaking of noodles, would you like me to prepare a bowl for you? Seems like you haven't ate all day". He said.

I smiled at him. "Sure dad, I'd love some". I said. It's kinda true that I really was hungry after all. I mean, I did ate breakfast at the palace. But not enough, all I had was cookies and some tea. Nothing more than that.

And I'm supposed to eat more since I'm a panda, and, do eat a lot, like a lot lot. No joke, I can definitely eat a whole meal of whatever.

However, I didn't put too much into consideration for it. Because of the visions that I still see. In my head. Of Tai lung coming back. It scares me to think about it.

I don't know why he's in my vision. I just know that he's there, giving me a sign of something. Maybe...a warning or some sort?

Gosh. It's complicated!

It stresses me out when I can't find the solution to this problem that I'm dealing with. I wish somebody could tell me what it means. In order to protect the people I love around me.

To not let anything happen. It would be devastating for me to even consider the danger that it might impact on me and my friends. Even my master.

....

I miss Oogway, I hope he can tell me a sign of what I'm trying to deal with. He has the answers to everything. Even if I don't understand it, he can at least guide me of what to do.

Just this once.

"Here you go Po, eat up!". As my dad placed a bowl of soups in front of me. I immediately came out of my senses looking up at him. Not showing a smile for giving me the soup. But a look of concern on my face of his safety. That I'm scared to show. Seeing his big ol' smile. As if it's the last time I'm going to see that face when the darkness comes. Which I'm afraid also, but tried my best not to show it.

"Thanks dad". I said looking back at the soup seeing my reflection on it. Sighing. "No problem Po, now, I'm going to lie down a bit. Enjoy it while you can." He said walking away from me towards the shop.

I grabbed my chopsticks and ate the noodles while it was still hot and ready. And it tasted really good, like always. Just like how I love it.

Reminds me so much of home.

And what I've become.
