As you were getting ready to go to school you got a text from Nakamura "Hey! we figured out a movie and time! is tomorrow at 4pm ok with you?" Just as you were about to write back you get another text from Rio. "PS I already got tickets so don't worry about them I'll just give them to you there! Btw the movie is a surprise!" You weren't expecting her to pay so you wrote back. "No, it's fine let me pay for my ticket." immediately you got a text back saying. "Nope! it's fine it's my treat." Nakamura smiled to herself chuckling it would be a treat. Especially for you and Karma " Oh Thank you then I'll buy snacks for us then." You wrote back hoping she would at least allow you that much. Social interactions were awkward but at least most of the time manageable however when they involved money.... that was a different story especially since you were the closet to her. You didn't want her to think you were trying to make her pay she invited you after all. Plus, it's not like the Asano's have any shortage of funds. Now that you were thinking about it why did 3E warm up to you quickly considering everything both Gakushuu and you have done. I mean some or most of the people there were because of either Gakushuu or me. However, before you could think about it farther Gakushuu walked into your room. " You ready?" He asked while grabbing your bag from the desk. "Oh yes! thank you I'm coming!" You said while grabbing your phone and running to the kitchen to grab the bento boxes you made for your brother and yourself. Once you grabbed them you handed Gakushuu his and he put it in his back and put yours in your bag as well. Once he puts the lunches in, he goes to put his shoes on and take your backpacks to the car. You and Asano were always close after all you both had to deal with the dumpster fire of expectations that your father placed on you both. However, Gakushuu had it worse a lot of the times because he would take the blame for you. You tried telling he didn't have to, but he wouldn't listen. You both really didn't like your father's ideals, but you had to pretend that you were. It was all for survival and your father was expecting the perfect protege. Its honestly surprising you guys didn't compete with each other and grow to hate each other because of it. though it wasn't like there weren't any "bumps" that happen. "What are you thinking about?" Gakushuu asked while you guys were driving to school. "Nothing really just daydreaming, I guess. "Yeah, that scowl on your face is definitely telling me that you were just daydreaming." Gakushuu says teasing you while he is cycling though student council papers. "Like your one to talk about scowling you scowl 24/7 even in your sleep!" You state Gakashuu rolls his eyes in a joking way at the comment. "Not denying it I see." You add jokingly while taking the papers Gakushuu handed you that you needed to look over for some school project for student council. While Gakushuu scoffed at your comment. "We are here." The driver says. "Ah thank you." both you and Gakushuu say to the driver as you get out. Once you get out you say goodbye to each other and head to your classes.
While walking up the hill you start shuffling through the papers that Gakushuu gave you. Though while you were looking at the papers you didn't hear a certain red headed devil creeping up on you. "Hello!" You immediately turned around eyes wide upon realizing who it was and how close he was to you. "Oh! Good morning Akabane why are you here it's unlike you to be here this early?" You say fixing the strand of hair that came undone when you turned around so suddenly as well as trying to hide the blush you felt creeping up on your face. Karma's laugher at being able to startle you suddenly gets quiet. "That's a secret." He says with that grin can only mean trouble of the highest degree the poor soul you thought yourself. "Anyways why are you calling me Akabane?" Karma asks questioningly with this weird look in his eyes. "Do you not wish for me to call you that?" You were a bit confused when he asked you that I mean there's no way he would want Y/n Asano sister of Gakushuu Asano his rival call him by his first name right. "Just call me Karma." He said nonchalantly. Ok you were dumbfounded I mean why in the world would he wants his riva- no enemies sister to call him by his first name that he probably hates just as much as Gakushuu. "Oh U- um are you sure?" you ask nervously making sure you it was fine. "Yes, I mean I call you by your first name everyone in 3E does." Karma states it was true you allowed them to call you by your first name but warned them not to do it front of the other classes for fear of a riot. "Oh, right ok then I'll call you by Karma then." You say as you check your watch for an escape not wanting to look Karma in the eyes for fear of your face turning into his hair color. "Oh, I better hurry before Koro sensei gets here, I have to be there early for cleaning." muttered to yourself before looking up again at Karma "Excuse me I need to do the morning cleaning and student council work." Just as you were about to turn away. "Wait you can help me!" He exclaims putting his arm around your shoulder as he begins to try and convince you to help him in this prank of his. While all you could think about was how close you were to each other "So you'll help me right?" he asks with that mischievous grin of his "Koro Sensei won't see it coming especially from you it would be perfect." He added trying to convince you even more. "Fine but what do I get out of this agreement." you say finally giving into the inevitable but trying to hide that from the ultimate teaser and sadist Karma Akabane. Afterall what would he do if he noticed how willingly you accepted it. However, you did want to see how he did his pranks and or assassination attempts. Plus being able to help him with one seemed at least a bit fun you admitted to yourself sheepishly. However, you won't take a deal without something in return. "Oh, you'll see, the plan is to..." Karma began as mischievously as always explaining the plan for the 'prank.' Which was more of an assassination attempt or attempts then a prank but its Karma, so you weren't going to argue with the details. However, you couldn't shake the feeling you were being baited and you took it. "Ok give me your number so I can text you the perfect time to do it since it may take a while to get everything ready and in place." Karma said as he held his phone out for you to take. While you were a bit stunned you did take his phone and put in your contact info. If Gakushuu was here he would have gone mad you think to yourself while holding back chuckles imagining the expression he would have on his face. If you were in fact being baited like you feel you are then let's see how it will end. Afterall keep your friends close but your enemies closer. Plus, if it was Karma then it wouldn't hurt to play along at least for a little you thought to yourself as you and Karma make your way to the classroom.
