Earlier that morning 

"Kar- Akabane, you can come out now." You told him going to open the door. "Karma. Y/n. Karma." Karma corrected, which was then you realized the door was locked. "Akaban-" "Karma. "We don't have time for this. They might come back any minute now. You need to get out while you can." You say trying to reason with Karma. "Mmm, alright, I'll come out if you call me Karma." You could practically hear the smirk in his voice when he said that. "Come on, it's just 5 little letters." Karma teased. "I'm leaving you." You say done with whatever Karma's little game that he's pulling was. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. "And why not?" You say beginning to make your way away from the door. "What would Asano and Koro sensei say if they heard you shoved me in a closet?" Karma teased, and you could tell he had the biggest smirk on his face. You immediately stopped mid step. "I bet Koro sensei would right it in that book of his~ Oh what fun it would be to see Asano reaction to hearing that!" Karma added teasing you even more. "fine." You sigh out, giving in to Karma's teasing. "Mmm. Did you say something?" Ok, he definitely heard you! "Are you not going to agree, Y/n? I'm hurt." That dramatic sadist! "I said fine! "Perfect! K.A.R.M.A Karma." Why does it matter to him so much if I call him Akabane or Karma? You thought to yourself. But it wasn't like you had much of a choice. 

"Karma, get out, we nee -" Just as you were about to finish the bell chimes, "Shoot! Karma, get out. We really need to go now!" This specific bell was for student council members specifically. They would get to class earlier to help the teacher, and most of them stopped by here first to grab items from the closet! Karma finally opened the door as you tried once again to get the window open once again. Since the hallway would have way too many people for you to walk out with Karma unnoticed. Karma went over to help you try and open the window. You were panicking inside and trying to unjam the lock. You honestly thought about breaking the lock. I mean, it was the second story. Even if the lock was broken, it's not like no one could really break in unless they want to climb the tree outside and somehow jump in the window. 

After about a minute of trying to open the window, you eventually give in and just break the lock. "Wow! If Koro sensei could see this, his favorite student committing property damage!" "Now's not the time, Karma!" You whispered yelled while opening the window. "Alright, you're going to have to take a running start in order to reach the tree. Think you can do that? Or is it much too hard for Akabane?" You tease trying to get back at him for all the teasing he's been putting you through. "Ha! Do you think that's hard? Also, just call me Karma." Karma laughs while he backs up, getting ready to jump out. "Why do you want me to call you Karma specifically anyways?" You ask while getting out of his way, not really paying attention or expecting him to hear you. "We're friends. Plus, another reason I don't like you calling me Akabane." Karma says weirdly serious. You were shocked. You rarely saw Karma serious and him calling you a friend at that! Although he couldn't see your ears were bright red. Just when you were about to ask him what the other reason was. You both heard footsteps. "Go, go!" You whisper yell at Karma, and he doesn't waste much time and jumps out the window. You went to the window to make sure he safely made it. Once you saw him clinging on a branch, you sighed a sigh of relief.

That's when the door opened, revealing Gakushuu the last of the Student Council members you want to see at this moment. "Y/n, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in that E class building right now?" Gakushuu asked you while walking over to the closet. "Also why is the window open?" Gakushuu was suspicious of you that's for sure. "I was finishing some papers here and I was just on my way out now." "Through the window?" "No of course not I had opened it because I wanted some fresh air." You say closing the window however it was hard with the now broken lock. After a minute or two 

"Do you need help?" Gakushuu asks putting the supplies in his hands down walking over to you to help you close the window. "Nope got it." You say panicking a little. You couldn't let him see the broken lock or Karma in the tree he'd hidden himself pretty well now but still! "Well, I better get going now. Bye!" You say grabbing your stuff and leaving the room quickly. silently praying your brother didn't notice anything.

Once you left Gakushuu waited a couple minutes making sure you got far away enough from the room then walked towards the window noticing the window lock was broken. He also noticed something red in the tree. "Interesting."

Once you got out of the main building you thought Karma might have gone to the base of the mountain. However, while you were making your way up the mountain and gotten a pretty good distance up. "Y/n!" you recognized that voice it was Ren's. Though once you looked be hide you it was so much worse! Natsuhiko, Tomoya, Teppei, and even Gakushuu! "What are all of you doing here?" You ask concerned that all the Student Council members were here. "Well Teppei, Tomoya, and Natsuhiko are helping me find Akabane right now." Ren said obviously still mad at Karma's prank. "I'm here because you need to review some of these papers." Gakuhuu said handing more papers. You mentally sigh out of relief for a second you though Gakushuu might have saw Karma. "Ah ok thank you is that all you need?" "Your number." "Ren stop flirting with my sister." Gakushuu said grabbing Ren's shoulder. "I was just joking!" Ren cries out. 

After Gakushuu's scolding

"I have to get going now goodbye." You say as you turn around only to see Karma hiding in a tree. Now why is he in there? You ask yourself. "Bye beautiful tell me if you see Akabane!" Ren called running before Gakushuu could catch him. "Bye." The others said walking to their class leaving you and Gakushuu alone. "Gakushuu? Do you need something?" You ask wondering why he hadn't left yet. "Do you know where Karma is?" Gakushuu asked sending chills down your spine. He sounded like he already knew but was just asking to be polite. "I saw him earlier, but I haven't seen him recently." It would be hard to lie to him if he already knew but if you said some truth and some lies maybe you could save yourself. "Ah I see. Good day." Gakushuu said walking back towards the main building. Once he got far away enough you immediately ran to where Karma was hiding grabbed his arm and ran. "Y-y/n what's wrong." Karma asked while letting you drag him.
