The two of them arrived at the front of the giant grey skyscraper building, out of breath and exhausted from their sprint.
Nagi gazed upwards, attempting to count the number the floors, but he gave up, thinking that there were infinite. It stretched far into the sky beyond his view, with its peak dissolved into the darkness.
"Big building, isn't it Reo."
"Yeah, it used to be my dad's headquarters but they refurbished all the floors with luxury restaurants, hotels and shops."
"That's really awsome."
"Thanks, but we really need to get going."
Reo parted a pair of huge gold decorated glass doors, being hit by the overly warm air inside that felt so nice.
"Nagi, wipe your shoes in mat please."
"Alright."
The lady at the desk was rather startled by the two teens running straight throught the room towards her.
"Good evening, how may I help you?"
"I have a reservation for the Grande Crystal banquet Hall. "
"Are you sure?" asked the lady, who was wincing at how Nagi was violently rubbing his shoes across the doormat -it wasn't elegant in the slightest.
"It's for Mikage," Reo growled, "I own this damm place."
Immediately, she realised her mistake, recognising the jewel-like dark purple eyes that could only belong to Reo Mikage.
"M-My sincerest apologies young master, I didn't recognise you at first." She tried her best not to stutter whilst Reo loomed angrilly over the desk. "Is that friend of yours coming with you?"
"Hey lady, Reo isn't my friend he's my b-"
"Yes he's with me! Nagi let's go, the elevator is open." Before the white-haired teen could say anything, Nagi was shoved inside. From ground floor all the way to floor 62, the journey began, which would take a couple of minute to atleast...
"So.. Nagi. We are going somewhere really posh. I know this sounds stupid but I'm gonna have to give you some rules."
"Rules? We didn't have rules when we went to the places to eat."
Usually reo would take nagi to considerably cheaper restaurants -not saying that those ones had worse food, of course the food quality would still be top-tier.
It's more to do with the type of food they serve. Expensive cuisine has a large number of 'exotic' ingredients like caviar, lemon grass, sea cucumber ect.. and this is what scared Reo the most. Nagi isn't the best at trying new food, but the teen hoped to get Nagi accustomed to such delicacies before they get start living togther.
"Listen. Do not touch anything that looks expensive, do not rock on your chair, do not be loud and don't be overly flirty."
"Why can't I be firty Reo, I though you love me.." Nagi pouted, looking a little upset.
"I do love you, but I'm sure you would also love to not be on the front page of the newspapers tomorrow morning, it would cause quite a problem for me."
"Oh I get it, are there important people who shouldn't us togther yet? Will it upset your dad?"
Reo couldn't help but ruffle Nagi's Irresistibly soft hair for a moment, in an effort to bring sunshine to his groaning face. "Yeah.. it's something along those lines. "But," emphasised the teen, "don't worry about it cause we can have some alone time later."
Nagi melted under the soothing touch of Reo's fingers playing through his hair. The subtle texture of fingertips gliding over his forehead kept the teen at ease.
"What do you mean by alone time?"
"Whatever you want to do... if we have time later, we do anything you like.
"Reo, I'll do my very very best just for you."
The elevator they were standing in was pretty spacious, yet just like magnets, they moved close togther. There wasn't a force in the world that could keep these two apart. Nagi stretched his arm around Reo to bring him in for a cozy hug, returning the favour for the headpat. The teen rested his head becide Reo's shoulder as they both started endlessly into each other's eyes.
It was moments like this that they would forget they were in a public place. "*Ding*" -the loud chime of the elevator snapped them back into reality. (Floor 40)
