This is going to be a long chapter and a bit fast because a certain someone *cough* didn't want it to end on an uneven number and didn't think I could write this in 2 more chapters. Thank you!

Yoko and I went to the base, knowing that that's where we were going to have what we needed to find Akami. Yoko set up the computer and typed away leaving me at his side to watch. I hate this, not being able to do anything.

I had this thought in my head, Akami's Dad. I wanted to tell Katsuki what was happening but would that be the right choice? He might just kill me if Akami gets a scratch, but then again I am going to kill whoever kidnapped Akami regardless if they put a finger on them. Back to the original question-

"Do you think we should tell Akami's Dad? I just, I don't know," I sigh.

Yoko responded without stopping his work on the computer, "We should. It makes the most sense, maybe they would even be able to help."

"Just maybe, but ok. Thank you, love," I smile and kiss their head.

He stopped and kissed me before starting again. Then we heard a knock on the back door, I looked at Yoko and then walked towards the door. My hand hovered over the handle, questioning if I should answer it or not.

There was a knock again, but louder.

I opened it to see a guy basically shaking in fear. He had on a black hoodie and black baggy pants. "T-t-thi-this i-is for y-y-you-you," his shaky voice confused me. He held out an envelope in wobbly hands that reached to me. I took it and backed away a bit into the bar.

He smiled a crazy smile, then started yelling up into the sky. "I did it! I did it, my lord! I didn't mess up, let me continue to serve you!" He laughed. He froze though when a mumble I barely heard came through an earbud he had on. His smile stiffened and tears started running down his face. "Please" he whispered. "Please, p-please my lord." He said a little louder. His face had only anger now, "I did what you asked. Please let them go. Let me go. Let Me Go!"

I wanted to slam the door in his face but I didn't. I had no idea where this was going. Then I heard clearly in the headset, "Fine," the man looked happy again, "You'll get to see each other in the afterlife then."

His eyes flooded with fear before he started screaming in excruciating pain. I hurried over to try to help him but he had blood running out of his mouth and his heart stopped beating by the time I could touch him.

My eyes stayed on the dead body for a while as confusing questions filled my head. I felt Yoko's hand on my shoulder and I got up to stand next to him. I looked at the envelope the guy gave me, then at Yoko. I opened it so we could both read it, and it read;

Hello Apallo, (for anyone who forgot, cause I did, Apallo is Dakai's vigilante name)

It's about time we meet up, don't you agree? After you rudely woke my Nomu and destroyed one of my labs. I thought I would return the favor by taking your precious little toy. If you want them back though, I have a few things in mind for how you can repay me. Meet me at *** **** ******** or I'll do the same thing I did to the person who delivered this message to the one you care about, or maybe I'll just make them into a Nomu for my growing army. ~Your choice

With that, I bid you ado- Korori

Neither Yoko nor I talked. They read the note over my shoulder so I knew they were having the same thoughts that I was having.

We needed to get them back.

Pov change- Akami:

I woke up, looked around, and took in my surroundings. It was dark and cold. I felt metal chains around my wrists, holding my arms above my head as I was bent down on my knees. I could feel my heart beating out of my chest. Where am I? What happened?
