???’s POV

“I want you to make friends with Akami Bakugou,” I said, leaning on the couch. “What why?” Karou asked with a grimace. “Because I said so, do I need to remind you that you work for me?” “Of course not boss boy, come on Karou. It’s not that bad, and they seemed nice at the entrance exam” Hikaru got in the conversation. I tsked at the name and had to remind myself that it was just Hikarou’s personality. It can be annoying at times, but she is valuable. So is her sister.

“Whatever.” She finally answered. “Good, now get going. School is starting soon.” I grinned at them. The smaller twin frowned but didn’t say anything as her sister pulled her along out the door. With a sigh, I get up and walk to the bar across the room, Kurogiri cleaning a glass on the other side of the counter. “You're not going to get me to give you alcohol,” Kuro said nonchalantly. I grunted, “Fine, but the least you could do is get me a coffee.” Kuro stood there, waiting for something, so I grumbled a little “please,” and then he was on his way to the coffee machine.

Then Shiggaraki came into the room. “What do you want Shig?” I questioned, picking up the cup of coffee that was placed in front of me. “This is my base, I can be anywhere I want without a reason,” he said in his crusty voice, “But, father summoned me to ask you to join the league. Again.” “And you can tell him, again, that I am perfectly fine being a solo vigilante.” I smirked, “I thought you wouldn’t be up yet cause you play your video games all night.” “I thought you would be out killing a random hero or stealing kuro’s supply of liquor by now. It's already 8, I’m surprised.” He smirked back at me while Kurogiri looked over at me, he could be shooting a glare but I couldn’t tell, heh. “I kill shitty “heros” who don’t benefit the world, but corrupt it. Not some random hero on the streets.” “What's the difference?” Shiggy exaggerated a ground and walked away, obviously giving up on talking. That's what makes you and me different Shiggy. I recognize the bad and eliminate it, while you seek to destroy everything that you don’t like. Its quite childish.

I start drinking my coffee. Black, just the way I like it. I let my mind wander and it brought me back a couple years ago, where I first met the LOV. I was running, running away from it all.

I felt the wind blast on my face as I ran and I could barley see where I was. I had been running for a little after learning that I had seriously hurt someone. My quirk took over my mind and anger flared. His face was just so bloody after, I just had to run. Nothing could be good back there. But I felt someone following me, someone looking at me. I was going around the back allies so as to not to draw attention, but it seemed that I got lost. I slowed down to a stop, needing little time to catch my breath. My eyes wandered around the space, it was less narrow from some of the allies I had already passed through.

It felt like eyes were piercing through me and I needed to deal with who it was. Something zoomed over my head, but before I could see anything it disappeared. A growl rumbled in my throat. “Whos there.” I say into the mostly empty space. I heard another noise before there was a kid with blue fiery wings and white hair lowering themselves from the roof above. As their feet touch the ground about 10 feet from me, I get a good look at them. Handsome face with pale yellow eyes; they looked about my age actually, maybe a bit older. “Who are you?” I grumbled.

They looked at me curiously before coming a little closer, now around 5 feet away. “I am Yoko.” “Is that your first name? Nevermind, why are you following me Yoko.” “Because, you seem interesting.” They said it was the most normal thing. Their head went side to side, like they had just heard something and reached out towards me. “Hey!” I almost yell, as their hand wraps around my arm and pulls me. They shushed me, “Trust me for a second.” I'm not trusting you! We just met! I thought, but didn’t have much choice to say anything as they brought their arms under mine and around my chest in a hold. In a second, I was in the air, the person hoisting me up and flying onto a staircase on the third story of the building that made part of the alley. When they put me down onto the creaky metal frame I tried to get away, but they held me down into a crouched position, put a hand over my mouth, and motioned me to look down.

Funny enough, there were two men walking side and side, down the alley, the exact place we were before. “Did you see that girl? Damn she was hot.” “Ya ya, keep it to yourself. I don’t wanna hear about all the girls you wanna fuck.” “Come onnnn,” They bickered all the way to the exit.

They took their hand off my face. “Sorry. What's your name?” “... Dakai, you can call me Dakai.” “You wanna come with me?” What do I have to lose? “Sure.”

They smiled, and flapped their wings till they were hovering, “Follow me, try to keep up.” They shot up onto the top of the building. Smirking, I brought my wings out and flew up too. Once I got up, my eyes looked left and right but they weren’t there. I hovered in confusion before in a split second, their head was upside down next to mine. “You have wings to.” They said, looking at the (color) feathered wings. They turned so that they were right side up now. I nodded, “So, where are we going.” “My home.” And like that, they took off again. I followed them, trying to keep up. Damn their fast.

A few twists and turns and sharp corners later, I saw them stop suddenly. I almost ran into them but stopped myself just in time. “Why’d you stop, is this it?” I asked. We were in front of an old building, in the bad streets of the city. They landed on the roof and I followed shortly after. “We're here!” They said to me, walking to a metal door that connected to the building. Knocking three times, the door opened into a dark staircase. This might just be the death of me, but why not. They walked down the stairs into the darkness, so I went after them. I had to hold onto the cold railing cause I couldn’t see once I closed the door behind me.

Before I knew it, another door was opened and light flooded in. It was a bar, in the said bar there were a couple of tables and a coach with a TV. It smelled of alcohol and cigarettes; my noise cringed for a second. “Welcome to my home,” Yoko said cheerfully. “Why did you bring me here? I’m a complete stranger to you.” I asked, confused. “I noticed you walking home a while back, you looked like fun. Then I saw you running in those allies and it's not very safe in this part of town. Papa!” They ran up to a tall figure, hugging each other. Once they separated, I saw who it was, “Dabi? As in the villain Dabi?” I had seen him a few times on the news. “Who’s this?” The tall scared man asked in his deep voice.

Is this Yoko’s dad? Oh fuck, what's he gonna do? Were they just leading me to my death? “My friend, Dakai.” Yoko answered. The other grunted and came over to me. The dark aura that surrounded him drowned me. He lifted his hand up… and put it on my head, ruffling my hair. “Yoko doesn’t have friends, nor have they brought anyone here. Stay as long as you like.” My eyes widened and Yoko groaned in embarrassment. Then he got closer to my ear, “And if you tell anyone where we are or who we are… just know I have intel on you and your family.” He backed off and looked over to the latter. “Why don’t yall go to your room, buba won’t be here for a while so we’ll call you for dinner.” “Mhm! Are you staying for the night?” Toko asked me.

I want to go back to Aka-kun… but maybe, I could just stay here for a bit? I would have time to think about it all. No one likes me in school anyway and this will give me an escape. If I see them, they're gonna want me to come back. So are Papa and Dad… “Ya, for now. Thanks for letting me stay over.”
After that, I ended up staying at the base. I met all of the LOV. They offered to train me and I said yes. They asked if I wanted to be a villain too, and to that, I said no. Vigilante, however, I would become. I met the twins and they joined me in creating a better world, one without toxic heroes. Overtime I became known as…well that you dont get to know that.
