Chapter 13: Where the Nomu Is

(Dakai's vigilante outfit! Its not a good drawing sorry, but ya.)

Dakai's POV:

"Glad you could join us... Apallo." Shigaraki said, and I nodded my head in acknowledgment. "Let's just get this over with so I can kill that bastard Nomu," I say. "Of course your godliness," Dabi said sarcastically.

"You don't get to make fun of my name when yours is just your quirk in Japanese. Plus, Apollo is a great god who made humans aware of their guilt and purified them of it. I'm doing the same thing, just purifying the world of the guilty by getting rid of them." A smirk took over my face. "That's why I named myself after him, using the base of his name, but adding an 'a' after the 'p'. " "We know, we know. You've explained it way too many times now." Spinner said, rolling his eyes. My teeth extended to their sharp state as I growled. He jumped in his seat and straightened his back. "Exactly," I said, retracting my teeth.

"Now, continue please?" I asked and Shigaraki nodded. "As far as we know, he is at this place," he pointed to a map on the table; it was where an abandoned building was in the southern part of Musutafu, Japan in the Koko Word. I go around that area all the time. "Hawks was also able to find the files on this Nomu. No idea how 'cause everything was supposed to be destroyed." He mumbled that last part looking off to the side for a moment before shifting his focus back.

"Anyway, this Nomu has a few quirks, which I will go over a little later after explaining my plan. Since it doesn't listen to instructions, we have to be careful. I'm sending in Toga and Dabi with you Apallo, I expect that you're bringing Hikaru and Kaoru." "Yes, I think they will be useful," I answered. "Ok, we have the blueprints of the building right here, half of you will enter through here, and the other through here." He pointed out and explained the plan. We were to go in from opposite sides of the building, then search from the bottom floor to the third story. If we found the Nomu, contact the others until everyone is together, then strike. As simple as it sounds in words, it was not going to be that easy.

"Ok, we'll meet tomorrow to execute this," Shigaraki said and sat up, leaving the room.

"What the hell did I get into this costume for then! I thought we were going tonight." I groan. Toga and Dabi laugh at me. I ruffle my feathers and get up, following the same path as Crusty. The other people surrounding the table got up ready to leave too.

After a change back to my normal clothes, it was a quick flight home, but when I did get there I was met with a pissed Papa. "Where were you, it's 10 pm! You worried us sick," Papa said, hands on hips. "It's not that big a deal, I'm not 10 anymore." I sighed. Dad came in then and ruffled my hair. "Get upstairs to bed kid, but don't think this means you're off the hook." He smirked at me and I said night to them both before rushing up the stairs so he couldn't change his mind. I heard them both giggling behind me and a small smile appeared on my lips. I missed them.

Opening the door as quietly as I could, I walked into my room. Yoko was sleeping on the bed while Akami was at the desk on the side of the room looking at a random Youtube video on their laptop. They hadn't noticed that I had entered the room and I took that to my advantage- I walked up sneakily behind them, and slowly reached out to them. "Ahhhh!" They scream as my hands suddenly drop onto their shoulders. A swing came my way and I narrowly dodged it. Yoko was now not resting, he was looking up with a surprised and hazy look. "What? What is it!" "You asshole!" Aka-chan yelled. I couldn't help but laugh. The door to the bedroom opened and Dad, Papa, Uncle Kat, and that Monoma guy showed up. "What happened, we heard screaming?" Dad said, his purple hair a mess. I couldn't stop laughing. They looked over at us confused. Smack! Akami had landed a blow to the back of my head.
