Dom and Letty: Love Story!! Part III

Chapter 45

(It's been a few days and they have barely said two words to each other. They both was too damn stubborn, and had to much pride to apologize. Letty was outside with Lil B pushing him on the swing to avoid being around Dom. It was so bad that he had been sleeping in the guest bedroom at night.)

Letty: Ok bubba it's time to head inside.

Lil B: (stomp) Play!

Letty: We can come back out later.

Lil B: No.

Letty: Yes, now let's go inside.

(She takes his hand as he pulls against her to stop her from taking him inside. She gives him a look, and he instantly straightens up. They go inside and she goes to the refrigerator grabbing a water.)

Letty: Brian you want some grapes.

Lil B: Yes please.

Letty: Coming right up.

(She fixes his grapes and give him his cup of water. She turns back around to find her something to eat for lunch. She was fixing a sandwich when she heard gasping noises. She turns around and sees Lil B trying to catch his breath. She hurried up picked him up before she started thrusting her fist against his stomach.)

Letty: (screams) Dom! Dommmmmmm! Come on baby.

(She does it again just as Dom comes running in taking in the scene. He hurries up and take his son before he does the same. Lil B was becoming weak, and was barely holding on when the grape came flying out of his mouth. Once it's out Dom turns him to look at him seeing his slightly blue lips. Letty had tears on her face as she pace back and forth, watching Lil B struggling to breathe.)

Letty: Is he ok?

Dom: (looks at her) What the hell happen?

Letty: It's my fault.

Dom: What did you do?

Lil B: (reaches for her) Mommy!

(She goes to take him but Dom moves and she gives him a look before speaking.)

Letty: I gave him a few grapes and water for his afternoon snack before lunch.

Dom: I need to get him to the hospital.

Letty: I'll come with...

Dom: No, stay here.

(Instead of arguing with him she just nods and watch as he grabs his keys rushing out the door. Letty nerves and anxiety was through the roof so she went to calm herself. After her tears she went in the living room to go wait on them.)

(Hours later, Letty was woken up by the front door opening. She sits up and see Dom coming in with a sleeping Brian heading upstairs. She waits until he comes down to ask the questions that's running through her head. Dom comes down the stairs and heads for the kitchen grabbing a corona out of the fridge.)

Letty: What did the doctor say? Is he going to be alright?

Dom: (looks at her) He's going to be fine.

Letty: (sigh) Thank god! Dom I'm....

(He slams his beer down and walk up to her with the most unreadable expression.)

Don: What the hell were you thinking?

Letty: I was just giving him a snack before I fixed...

Dom: You could have killed him, my son could have died because of your carelessness. Why would you give him whole grapes anyway, you know your suppose to cut them up.
