Chapter 52

(It's been four weeks and Letty hasn't been doing nothing by puking and sleeping. This pregnancy has been draining all of her energy. Dom's grandmother has been there for two weeks and have been very helpful. Dom have been very concern about how pale she looked all the time and the weight lost.)

Abuelita: Letty sweetie I made some soup to settle your stomach.

Letty: I don't think I can eat that.

Abuelita: Try it. It helped me when I was pregnant with Jack and when your sick too.

Letty: What's in it?

Abuelita: No need to be picky, eat up.

Letty: (sigh) Fine!

(She sits up and takes the bowl from Abuelita. She brings the spoon up to her mouth and eats it. Being cautious, she takes small sips and wait to see if she get sick. After a few good mouth fills she takes bigger sips until it's all gone.)

Abuelita: See was that so bad?

Letty: That was good.

Abuelita: Good because you need to put some meat on those bones.

Letty: (looks down) I've tried to eat, this baby won't let me keep anything down.

Abuelita: It's going to get better and before you know it, you will be gaining a pound a day.

Letty: (makes a face) Gee thanks.

(Abuelita laughs before she pat Letty leg and gets up to fix her another bowl. Letty was relaxing on the sofa when Dom comes home to check on her. He walks over to the sofa and sits on the table in front of her.)

Don: Hey.

Letty: Hey, what are you doing here?

Dom: Came to check on you.

Letty: I'm feeling a little better.

Dom: That's good, have you eaten?

Letty: Yeah, Abuelita made some soup and it's so good.

Dom: You kept it down?

Letty: (nod her head) I think the baby likes it.

(She looks at him as he just stare at her.)

Dom: Your so beautiful.

Letty: Please, I look like Casper the friendly ghost. I didn't think it was possible for me to get this pale.

Dom: I mean it.

Letty: Your just trying to get lucky tonight.

Dom: Did it work?

Letty: (chuckle) Your so predictable, come here.

(He leans over and she hooks an arm around his neck pulling him to her. She brings her lips to his and teasingly captures his lips with hers. He brings a hand to her belly and caresses it as he deepens it adding tongue. Letty moans feeling all warm and tingly inside as her hormones run wild. They was so deep into each other they didn't hear Dom grandmother walk in.)

Abuelita: (clears throat) That's how you two got into this situation.

(They both jump and Dom moves away from his wife who cheeks are blush red.)

Dom: Sorry, hey Abuelita.

Abuelita: Hello Dominic, home for lunch?

Dom: Yes ma'am.

Abuelita: I have some soup if you'd like some.

Dom: Umm yes that sounds good.

Abuelita: Come and let your wife rest.
