"You've been sulking all afternoon," Mingi poked Yunho's cheek with his index finger.  "What's been up with you, hmm?  Haven't seen you smile once.  And you love cuddling."

Yunho was hanging out at Mingi's house.

He was tired, so Mingi suggested they cuddled in bed for a while so he could relax.

The lilac hadn't seen his boyfriend all week due to being busy with assignments.

He had been deeply troubled by his conversation with Wooyoung on Sunday.

The redhead... had looked so defeated.

As if he had lost everything.

Wooyoung had made himself scarce.

The only times Yunho would see him was in their dorm, and Wooyoung was usually asleep, cocooned by his blankets.

Yunho felt guilty.

He hadn't meant to hurt Wooyoung's feelings or make him feel bad about Mingi.

He hadn't told Mingi about his conversation with Wooyoung yet.

But Mingi's prompting was an effective opening to do so.

"I'm just worried about Wooyoung." Yunho told him.

Mingi sat up, frowning a little.

"What's wrong? Is he okay?"

Yunho's heart swelled at the care Mingi clearly has for his best friend.

"I don't know. I talked to him about what he said to you, and he didn't take it well. He was in tears. He said... that his presence was upsetting everyone, and all he had done was hurt people. That obviously isn't true, but he said it with such conviction. He believed those lies. He hasn't spoken to me all week. Whenever I see him, he's asleep. I'm worried about him. It's my fault he's like this."

Mingi ran his fingers through Yunho's hair, massaging his scalp.

"Don't blame yourself.  Let's go talk to him together tomorrow, how about that?  Wooyoung always takes things hard, and there have been times before when we were in high school that he upset me, and he beat himself up over it for days.  I'll tell him everything is okay, because it is.  I'm not mad at him, I never was.  He's my best friend.  Most of this was my own insecurity.  He had no fault in that."

"Yeah, okay," Yunho relaxed a bit.  "In general, hasn't he seemed a little off to you?  He hasn't been smiling as much anymore.  He's been quieter, more reserved.  Last semester, Wooyoung was so vibrant and full of energy.  It's almost like Wooyoung's been replaced with somebody else.  And I can't figure out why."

Mingi hummed. "Yeah, I've noticed.  Did you notice that he's lost quite a bit of weight?  When we hung out, he just looked different.  I've told him before to stop trying out those crazy diets, but he won't listen, I guess."

"Diet?"  Yunho frowned.  "You know what's odd?  I haven't seen him eat in a while.  He and I used to eat together in the evenings.  But this semester, we've stopped.  The other day, I saw him trying to eat a granola bar.  I was pretending to be asleep, so he didn't see me.  He took one bite, grimaced, and threw the rest of it away.  He almost looked scared to eat it."
