Harry smiled at me, revealing the tiny crevices in his cheeks. I was so mesmerized by his physical attributes, that I forgot to reply.
"And what's your name, love?" He spoke as I watched his lips move, slowly coming out of my trance.
"Jasper. It's Jasper." I told him with a hoarse voice. He chuckled, clearly implying that he knew the affect he had on me after not even 5 minutes of being in his presence.
We sat in silence for a few moments, the music softly playing through the radio of his car. I watched him as he maneuvered the car through the busy roads.
"Bloody hell," he said as he stopped the car suddenly, due to the many cars piled into neat lines ahead of us. Traffic, of course.
He turned to me, a grin plastered to his beautiful face, "So Jasper.. It seems as if we're going to be here for a while. Tell me about yourself, to pass the time."
"What would you like to know?" I returned, raising an eyebrow at his blunt demand.
"Everything." He stated. And I did.
We spent what felt like ages in the car, and I told him of my job, which happened to be at a small coffee shop close to my apartment, and of my university experience so far.
"Do you go to King's as well?" I questioned, watching his lips frown slightly before he answered.
"No, I don't go to university. I wish I did, but I'll survive without it. There's means of making money without a degree, you know." He said with a soft chuckle.
"What exactly do you do? Not to be rude but I didn't realize you could afford a car as nice as this without a well paying job."
"Who said I didn't have a well paying job?" He rhetorically asked, with sarcasm dripping from his voice.
"I wasn't.. I mean.. I didn't-", I started, before he cut me off with another laugh.
"I'm just joking, love. I understand. But before you question me about my job, let's just say its very... interesting."
I nodded, confused by his words. We spent a few more moments in a comfortable silence, as he finally dropped me off home.
I thanked him, and he sped off down the dark roads. I trudged up the cement stairs to my adequate looking apartment. I unlocked the door, stepping inside and tossing my wet bag onto the floor in the corner. I skip happily to the shower, refreshed to be home as I peel off my jeans and hoodie. I felt the need to cleanse myself after my strange encounter with Harry. It was weird he just showed up to the school, like he knew I would be there even though I haven't met him before. I realized it was a stupid idea to get into a stranger's car, but I pushed that thought aside and ran my shampoo covered hands through my hair.
After my shower, I pulled on a t-shirt and sweats, curling up on my couch with a cup of coffee and my laptop, attempting to write an essay for one of my courses. I get very easily distracted, so after 20 minutes I ended up watching some random action movie on my t.v.
I ended up dosing off on my couch, and woke up to the t.v. still blaring in the morning. I grumbled, getting up as I clumsily bashed my toe against the table.
"Fucking hell!" I bellowed, jumping up and down, clutching my poor, injured foot in my hands. After wrapping a band-aid around it, just for safe measures, I grab my phone off the table, and head towards the door for work. My shift started at 11:00, but I always liked to show up about an hour to prep for the day so I have less to do when I'm actually working. Changing into black skinny jeans, and my navy blue collared work shirt that read "Coffee and Cakes" in small stitching, I walked out the door. Well, I almost successfully made it out, until I was stopped by a foreign object laying across the mat laying in front of my door. A single pink rose lay across it, on top of a small note.
I picked it up, curious as to where it came from and who would have left it. It was indeed a sweet gesture, it just confused the hell out of me.
After examining the rose, I looked over to the note, which had a short message written in a messy scrawl.
"I'll see you soon, love. xx -Harry"
