BULLCRAP!

NO THANKS!

I DON'T WANT TO!

Being in the special class is nothing but trouble! Too much attention! A high attractant of problems and dangerous conflicts!

Before I could start my internal panicking, Raiden maneuvered her body to bow lower, her forehead almost touching the ground.

"It is an honor to be offered by such a great opportunity." She said in a very solemn tone while maintaining her posture.

From my side, I can see her disgusted expression which almost made me crack my serious demeanor.

She quickly made a funny annoyed face before she continued. "However, I believe that I'm not worthy to be regarded as someone that deserves special education and guidance from a respectable teacher."

It's too funny to see her contradicting tone and facial expression. Damn you and your blatant flowery words!

The Great Mage kneeled in front of us, specifically in front of Raiden. Then he carefully held her arms and gracefully pull her up again in a seating position. "Child, why do you regard yourself so lowly? The Assytheusse phoenix acknowledged your presence." he asked with his old gentle voice.

His eyes are absolutely shining like a diamond. Myriad of glinting colors reflected on his jewel-like irises. The comic version of the original novel didn't even include this level of details.

May anak ba si Great Mage? Or kaya apo? O kaya kamag-anak na may ganyan ding mata?

Bullcrap! I wanna see someone younger being with that pair of eyes!

Before I could daydream, Raiden gasp in an exaggerated manner before slightly bowing her head towards the Great Mage, "I possessed a weak prime core. I did a bare minimum help in my companions." she said again with a sad voice.

Says the one, who yeets Richwell in the mouth of the dragon.

Says the one that slaughtered bunch of Black Ome Strix.

I looked at her with a subtle bored look. Seriously. If this wasn't for the sake of our safety, I would openly declare her as a liar.

The Great Mage was left quiet for a moment, then he caressed his white beard.

I felt a little nervous too. Because if Raiden's pleas falls into deaf ears, it means Claude and I also doesn't have a chance to escape the special class.

A special class is offered to a special student with great potential. It doesn't have to do with your status, bloodline, or wealth. It was all about your foreseen possibilities.

It could be someone like Arpina and Claude with a Nigiro Core.

Or the heroine, who was supposed to be learning all the elemental magic.

Among the three of us, Raiden has the weakest core. Though her hidden skills are quite phenomenal especially if properly trained.
