I had 24 days to get ready for the tournament, and I had to balance school work on top of that. Luckily, Dray is a great study partner, and he helps me understand the material a lot more. One day, we were studying in the Library, when I saw Ronald and Hermione pop up quite close, and it seemed like they were heading towards us. I pointed this out to Dray, and so we slipped under the invisibility cloak, and decided to head to a spot in the forest.

As we were passing them, we overheard them whispering among themselves, "Hermione, when can we stop being his friend, we already have a ton of money!"

"I told you Ronald, this is a lifelong plan, we need to secure his marriage to Ginny first, and make it to were he unknowingly gave us his consent to have permanent monthly transfers, and we need to work even harder right now as the transfers have been delayed recently. We also can't let his bank account go completely dry."

We held our laughter, barely, but we did it, until we got outside, then we started snickering quietly, making sure no one heard us. When he finally gained his composure, Draco said "If only they new, if only they knew" in a posh voice, making me laugh even harder, barely able to control myself.

We then headed into the woods, and once we got far enough, we took off the cloak and started chatting, "So, Ian, how are your studies going?"

"Mate, we have the same classes!"

"True, true, very true."

"True, true, very true." I said, mimicking Dray.

"What was that?" he said, laughing.

"That was you, you sounded like a politician, or something. Anyway, how's your History of Magic essay going, what topic did you choose again?

"I chose Phineas Fletcher, by the way, have you even started on that essay yet?"

"One, isn't it a bit dark to choose Phineas Fletcher, two, it's not due till next week, and I've been practicing with my Scimitar from Perce and Nico's class."

"Oh yeah, they offered to give the Black Nights extra training next meeting."

"We should have a meeting tomorrow, because it's the end of the weekend, and the weekdays are too busy."

"Good idea, we should find the others and tell them,-" Dray was then cut off because we heard some sounds.

"Shut up Perce!"

"Come on, I saw you eyeing him for days after the battle, you are totally obsessed with Solace."

"Well what about you with Jason, huh? Every day I was on the Argo II, I could see you sneaking peaks at his sweaty abs and biceps!"

"Oh, we're going down that road, now, alright but I know you only have eyes for me!" Percy said, doing a fake hair flip.

"You wish Jackson, you're totally not my type!"

"Ah!" Percy exclaimed, feigning hurt, "How dare you! I'm everyone's type!"

"Yeah, sure you are bud, sure you are."

They then walked out of range, and I turned to Dray to see him fangirling, "OMG, I ship them so much! Should it be Nercy, ugh, no, how about Pernico, or Percico! Yes, Percico." he said with assurance.

I burst out laughing, "Dray, you fangirl to much — but I do agree on the Percico part."

"See, I'm just that good with ship names! By the way, I was thinking we should make some sort of thing to tell us when the meetings are, maybe something like a tattoo, or linked objects."

"Yeah, we should do some research on that, but for now, lets just relax."

"OMG, Ian, did you hear about Pansy and Goyle!"

If I had had water in my mouth I would have spit it out, "NO, that is extremely unexpected."

"Not really, all they did is get caught bullying."

"DRAY! You made me think they were a couple!"

"I never said they were."

We continued on like that for a few more hours, before heading to the ROR for research on a sort of connecting or binding spell to help us communicate.

————————————————————————————————————

When we got to the ROR, there was a humongous scroll on the table of the common area of sort that the room had made for us. I got to the scroll and unrolled it, and what I saw had me call over Dray, who had already headed over to the library section, in a tentative nature, "Hey, Dray?"

"Yes?"

"Come over, here I want you to read this."

He walked over and read aloud, "If this scroll has appeared, it means that the room has discovered a true master, and the room will only grant access to the master and their chosen exceptions. Below are things about the room and more information on how to use it. For any questions you have about the room, you can just ask this here scroll, and it will give you the answer."

He paused, then asked aloud, "How to find specific information." in a crisp, clear voice. The text then changed, explaining that, if there is a library, all you have to do is go into the library and think of what you want to research, then the library will fill with any book every written on that topic. To narrow down the options, be more specific with your words."

"Alright," I said, impressed by the ROR once again, "Let's head to the library section then."

We walked over, and Dray said, in a very clear, slightly commanding voice, "Information on linking of objects and minds."

To our surprise, despite the very vague requirements of Dray's request, there seemed to only be around fifty books written on the topic.

"Mind linking must be either rare, or forbidden magic if there are so few books in the whole world about it." said Dray, in a inquiring voice.

"Well, let's not waste any time." I said, and with that, we got to work.

By the end of that day, we had scanned through all the books except one, and so far, nothing was appealing except for the Protean Charm, which, when the original object is changed, all other objects mirror that change, but we still wanted something more in-depth than just setting meeting times.

"Alright, Dray, last book. Hopefully it has something useful for telepathic connections." The book was titled Connection Charms, and Their Many Different Types. We went to the table of contents, and to our great enjoyment, it had a mental connections section.

We decided to call it a night and went to dinner, telling everyone about tomorrow's meeting.

When we went to tell Percy and Nico, Dray observed that they seemed to be sitting a bit closer, and were slightly more touchy and comfortable with each other. I personally, do agree, but I think he might also be reading into things a bit to much.

Guys, I got a new personal best at 1,104 words on this chapter, sorry I haven't updated in forever.
