Falling in love was three big words for Matt. He never liked to say that he have fallen in love with some girl he saw, a human that made him feel like he is in love.

He always tried to deny it, move forward from this person, and live his life like he don't losing his mind about someone he shouldn't.
About someone who wasn't his.

Even when he met you, even when he saw you, and your eyes met his, your touch touched his skin and his heart. Your hugs and your arms were warm every single time he was hugging you tight.

But still, you never was his girl.

All those hugs, all those holding hands in the dark, all of the time you put your head on his shoulder and kissed his cheek. Wasn't in a relationship state.

Just two friends who have fallen in love. Matt never thought of you liking him or loving him back like he is. You always told him about your dates, cried about boys who broke your heart, he always was fighting with them right after you got heartbroken and then got kicked out of school.

But with the time you realised that you might have falling for Matt too. You've never thought him to fall in love with you, so you just kept it inside, and try to move forward.

It's was Saturday morning. You woke up at Matt room and got downstairs to see Matt and his brothers on their phones. It's was your birthday today. "Morning." You said.

"Oh my god, happy birthday." Nick said and clapped his hand for you, you laughed at his reaction and hugged him. "Thank you, my love." You whispered.

You could see Matt waiting for you to come to him but you kept talking with Chris and nick who wished you happy birthday and talked about some of stuff.

"We shouts go upstairs nick." Chris said to nick when he saw Matt waiting for you, watching you from afar. Nick looked at Chris and understood that. "Yeah, let's go." He said.

They both went upstairs and it's was only you and Matt downstairs, you took out a sigh and looked at Matt who already looked at you.

"Hey Matt."
"Hey y/n."

You smiled at him and he laughed at you. He came towards you and warped you inside his arms. You get inside his arms without thinking, you closed your eyes and stayed there for two long.

You felt his lips touch the top of your head and you sigh. "Happy birthday little dummy." He said and pulled back to take a look at you.

You felt your heart skipping a beat or two, you almost said that, almost kissed him, almost did that. But you couldn't.

"Thank you." You whispered to him, he finally took his hands off of you and let you go. Even when you didn't want him too. You opened your phone to see the message while Matt was making breakfast for two of you.

"You didn't ate?" You asked him. "No, I waited for you." He turned around and smiled at you. "That's nice matt." You said and he cleared his throat. "Everything to my birthday queen." He said and made you blush.

"Don't call me like that." You said and laughed. "What! I'm not lying to you! You're a queen." He shouts at you. "Yeah, but this is so cringe!" You said to him. "Whatever."

"But thank you." You said and get back to your phone, matt turned around to you and smiled, you blow a kiss to him and he did like he catch it. That all your friendship based on.
