Walking as if a normal day

But I know

I am not okay

But I know

I am not alone

Being followed

By the Predator

Being hunted

Just like prey

I know this is not a game

As you grasp

My little hand

The face you made

As we touched

Your eye color change

The way you spoke

I knew for once

I was being

TOOK

Chapter 1

I was sitting down on the 7th floor when Toshiro flew onto it. "Aiden." He said; to make sure I was paying attention to him. Once he saw I was, he spoke, "I need to you to bring someone here." He said with an urgent voice. I turned my head back to look at the ceiling. "Who?" I asked bluntly. "I need you to get this girl, okay?" Toshiro handed me a picture of a girl. She had brown hair that went to her shoulder blades, and was flat. She had bangs that parted to the right side of her forehead, bright emerald green eyes, and wore jeans and a Van Halen shirt. "Why do I have to go get her, especially when you don’t even say ‘who’?" Toshiro sighed impatiently, "Will you just get off your ass, and do what I ask for once?" I sighed," Fine old man." and flew off.

I gathered my things. I was going to the park to study; it was quiet and relaxing there. I had on a ‘Van Halen’ shirt, skinny blue jeans, and my black convers on. I had my hair ironed and brushed, I was ready to head on down.

I got out of my apartment, (it was actually pretty good looking, good priced, and good size). I was lucky to get one like this. I locked the door behind me, and said hello to my neighbor, Mrs., Jentonsin. She was a friendly old lady who always tried to talk me into meeting her grandson. I always made up an excuse like, ‘I do not want a boyfriend right now’ or,’ I am way too busy for boys,’ or even once,’ I don’t want a boyfriend.’ And since that last comment, she asked me if I was lesbian. I said no, and told her I was just under a lot of pressure and apologized for snapping at her. I walked down the iron stairs, and went on my way to the park.

I walked down the empty side walk beside the road. I was heading to the park to study. I had tons of exams this coming week, I was in college, and idiotically, I took hard classes that were easy in high school. As I walked across the street I felt a sudden gust of wind behind me. I turned around, nothing. I figured it was just the wind and continued on down. The park was just a few more blocks away. I looked around; there were new bushes and trees planted. I turned to my right, and walked into the park. It was empty. "Strange." I thought, even though it was Sunday, it was the afternoon and usually little kids and their parents would be out here. I shrugged it off, and got under an Oak tree. Just as I cracked open my history book, I heard a slight noise. Rustle, rustle. I looked up; there was nothing in the tree. I sighed, starting to feel like I was going crazy, and just went on studying. "Evliya Çelebi grew up in 17th century Istanbul as-"I read when I heard another noise, I looked up, and this time, and decided to speak up. "He-"I started, when a hand covered my mouth, grabbed my right arm, and pulled me up. A man with black shaggy hair held me. He was muscular, and had a large body. He had green eyes, and was extremely attractive. But I didn’t think much about that, at that point in time. "Mhhh! Lemgh meh gwoa!" I muffled out, I couldn’t speak since his hand was on my mouth. He had on a red sweat shirt and jeans. "Will you be quiet? God, I am not going to rape you or anything." He whispered, with a serious voice. But there was something in his eyes that told me he ACTUALLY wouldn’t hurt me. He picked me up, holding me in his arms, and jumped off the tree. He bounced to the next one. He did that in lightning speed. At the last tree, he jumped again, this time, black wings appeared, and he flew away, taking me with him.
