I didn't realise when I fell asleep staring at Diya but when I woke up she wasn't there darshan was awake but he was hugging me I caressed his hair as he looked up and smiled at me "mumma kha hai?" I asked him and he replied "pata nhi baba hum jb uthe mumma nhi thi" I kissed his forehead getting up and said "niche chale shyd niche hai" he streched his arms he loves to be carried and I will never refuse him to do so I picked him up in arms as he rested his head on my shoulder I looked around the living room but diya was no where I saw saru maa was preparing for dinner as I asked her "saru ma diya kha pe hai"
She looked at me and said "wo tou kafi der pehle bahar gyi thi tu so kr tha aa jayegi kuch der me tension mt le" I frowned hearing her uske factures abhi poori tarike se thik bhi nhi hue aur chali gyi bata tou deti ek baar I huffed as darshan got down from my arms getting busy with saru ma he loves to talk my little chatter box I went up and called diya but her phone was unreachable this is Making me more anxious I tried to call her multiple times I Messaged her but it was of no use I tried to call sharvani and veeransh neither shravani picked up the call nor veeransh I wiped my clammy hands on my pants as my hands started shaking my separation anixety was being triggered at the moment and my mind couldn't stop thinking about what could have happened to her is she alright yes nothing can happen to her but if she is alright why the hell is she not picking up the call
I picked up a black tshirt which was lying in front wearing it I ran downstairs picking my car keys and phone I looked at darshan who stopped me by saying "baba aap kaha ja reh ho" I looked at him and said "aap yhi rho saru maa ke sath I am just going to pick up mumma okay" he looked at me with a puppy face "baba hum bhi apke sath chale please " I closed my eyes and said cupping his face "bache you stay here it's late and weather is also not good okay baba will be back soon" he hugged and said making a face "thik hai par jldi ana" as I left kissing his forehead
