Emi bit her lip and couldn't help but frown wondering what she had done to make the man that she was falling for leave her on read though she was quite aware that she was falling for him yet.

She tried to wrack her brain for an answer as to if she had said something to him that maybe pissed him off but she was coming up with nothing, things were fine between them last night when they were talking on the phone before going to bed.

She got a little distracted from her thoughts by her phone going off and a small part of her was hoping it was him texting her back but she blew out a breath seeing it was a notification from her GC with Koda and Alex.
