Chapter Seven : The Wrong Bride

Piyashi's pov

After the wedding,they tell me that I'm not going to my in law's house but to Aryan's house.
I glance at Aryan from time to time and he is on his phone.
"Drive faster!I  have some important work to do!"he says curtly and I frown.Work?
We are on our way to Aryan's mansion and instead of resting,he wants to work?

As soon as we stop,he gets out and starts walking away to the house.I gasp in shock at his behaviour and also how beautiful the mansion is.
"Thank you,uncle."I tell the driver and move out of the car while taking my suitcase.I drag my suitcase  up to the door and sigh.Where is he?

I thought that he will walk me to the door but he seems different from before.I open the door and I gape at the place.After  looking everywhere and exploring the mansion,I find him in the study.

I open the door and he looks at me calmly."What's rule no.6?"he asks and I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.Rule?
"Hn?"
"Rule no.6, don't disturb me and irritate me."he says calmly.Why is he behaving  like this?
I open my mouth to speak when we hear voices downstairs.

He starts walking  out and I follow him.He sees our parents and Preeti and asks,"Why are they here?"
"I have called them."I say and he looks at me,"What?"

I  go downstairs and they look at me.My mother in law says,"Dear,are you okay?What happened?"
Preeti nods,"Is Aryan already troubling you?"
I shake my head,"There is something I want to tell you."I take off my veil and they gasp in shock.Even Aryan's eyes widen and he walks down the stairs.

"Piyashi!What is happening here!?"Pa asks  sternly and I gulp,"Pa, Di  ran away! I'm sorry ,Pa.If I hadn't  taken her place ,both our families would've been defamed."
Ma looks at me,"So it was you that was in the dressing room earlier.I  suspected that something wasn't right."

Aryan looks angry,"Why didn't you tell us that she ran away?Did you help her escape?"
"No!I just saw her leaving this letter in your room.It was too late by the time I read it."I give them the letter and ma starts crying after reading it.
"Why did she do this!?Did we force her to marry Aryan,Dev?"

Pa shakes his head while my in laws are still in shock and disbelief.Tears form in my eyes looking at them and Aryan glares at me.I look away and Pa sighs,"Look, everyone.I'm not saying everything that happened was right! I'm very sorry on behalf of Anya but none of us knew  what she was planning."

I  feel guilt stabbing my insides.I knew and I could've told them but I was selfish.I just didn't want to see them unhappy and I wanted to marry Aryan.

Ma comes towards me and for a moment I think that she's going to slap me but she hugs me,"Thank you,dear.You should've told us when she escaped but you saved our reputation today."

Aryan's mom and dad nods.Ma ji,my mother in law steps forward and hugs me after ma,"Let bygones be bygones.I'm just happy that I at least have a bahu (daughter in law)."she says jokingly and Preeti laughs,"And I'm happy that I have a bhabhi!"

I look up to see that Aryan is not there.I look at  ma ji and she smiles,"Give him some time,dear.He will come around.He just... doesn't like change."
I nod and we start the remaining rituals except the ring ritual because Aryan didn't come down.

After leaving,I  find the maids Tina and Ritu who prepared dinner for me.As I eat ,I remember that Aryan hasn't eaten his dinner yet.I prepare a plate for him and go towards his study.

Aryan's pov

I don't need this in my life right now.That girl ran away and I married her sister.This girl and her sister made a fool out of me.One ran away and one married me and I didn't even suspect anything!I sent her the prenup after signing it but she ran away.I didn't even make Piyashi sign  a prenup and in future she will take my money if she divorces me.I'm furious and I don't even know what will happen now.

I hate drama and this  girl is trouble.She is loud, immature, clumsy,very talkative and she doesn't listen to anyone.Yes,I saved her from that disgusting man but that doesn't mean I wanted her to become my wife.Her sister was convenient and distant which is exactly what I need but this girl is very stubborn.I need to tell her the rules so that she can stay away from me.I don't need distractions in my life!

I hear a knock at the door and I sigh,"Who is it?"
A pause and ,"It's me."I hear her soft voice say and she comes in with a plate of food.
"I know that you didn't have food.Please eat."she says , looking at the desk.

I roll my eyes,"I'm not there, I'm here!Look at me when  you're talking."
She blinks, looking into my eyes and  I frown as her cheeks get pink.
Why is she acting like a shy bride?I think that she's expecting too much from this marriage.I think I need to explain what I expect of her.

I   sit down,"Stop acting like my wife."I say and she frowns,"But I am your wife."
I glare at her but she doesn't even flinch.She just looks confused.

"Sit down and listen to me."She sits on the chair and I turn away from her.After sending some important emails to my PA,I start talking to her.

"I have a few rules that I want you to know.I don't repeat myself and I don't want you to embarrass me whenever we go somewhere.I  can't love you or pretend to be a loving husband but I will respect you and be loyal to you."

I sigh,"If you follow the rules while staying here,you will have no problems from me.Rule no.1,Always listen to what I say and—"I turn around and see that she has her head on the desk and she's  asleep.
She's going to be a pain in my neck, isn't she?
