Chapter Fourteen : Piyashi leaves Aryan

Third Pov

"What!?"Aryan yells, standing up from the couch.

Piya's eyes widen,"Why are you behaving so weirdly?I'm not leaving forever!"

He glares,"Then what is all this!?"he asks, looking at the suitcase.

"Relax, I'm  going to the  US to visit my best friend Grace.She called earlier on and she was sick so I need to see her."I lie.

He nods,"Oh.How long are you staying there for?"

She shrugs,"I don't know.Maybe I'll  stay for a week.Maybe I'll stay for a month."

"A month!?"he yells and she grins,"Yes, a month.Why?Will you miss me?"She wriggles her eyebrows teasingly.

He glares,"No,it's fine.Stay there for a week or even a month.It doesn't make a—"

"ARYAN KAPOOR! DON'T YOU DARE FINISH THAT SENTENCE OR YOU'RE GROUNDED FOR LIFE,MISTER!"Piya yells and he  blinks.

"What the hell?"he says.

She laughs,"Sorry,I  always wanted to say that and ....also no bad  language!"she warns.

He shakes his head,"My wife is strange!"he mumbles to himself.

He starts walking away when she stops him."Wait! I'm staying with my friend for a week but don't think that you're getting rid of me.I'll be back soon!I hope you don't mind that I  asked Ritu for your phone number and sent you a text from my number!Oh...and I'm  not coming back unless you call me on my phone!Be nice to Ritu and Tina and also... don't forget to eat!Bye bye."

She starts walking away when he stops her,"Wait!"She stops and turns around.

"What?Did I forget something?Is it my toothbrush?"she rambles and he hesitates before stepping forward.

"Let me drop you to the airport."he says and her jaw drops in shock.

"What?"she blinks and he shakes his head,"Nothing!I didn't say anything!"

She smiles,"You are such a liar,Aryan!You said that you will drop me.Come on!"she squeals excitedly.

Aryan shakes his head ,mumbling."You really dug your own grave,Aryan!"

He walks outside along with Piya.

She laughs,"Aryan,you talk to yourself in third person but you call me strange!"

"Shut up!"he mutters, getting in the car.

Piyashi's Pov

"Hmm hmm hmm."I hum along with the music and then suddenly he just switches the radio off.
I sigh,"There wasn't any rules about playing music in your car,was there?"
He shrugs,"No but my car,my choice."
"We should've taken my car."I mumble.

I'm really going to miss him.I'm also going to miss Ritu and Tina.I know that he won't tell mama-papa about me.That's his only available tactic to push me away but he will regret it.

Anyway a few days ago I was feeling bored and lonely when Grace called me.I missed her and I wanted to give Aryan some space so that's why I'm going.She's not sick or anything.

I just want Aryan to miss me.They say that distance makes the heart grow fonder.Some people only realise the true worth of something when it's gone.Like how in my childhood...mama bought me a doll when I liked to play with cars.I didn't play with that doll but when mama gave it to my cousin,I felt bad.Then I stole that doll when she wasn't looking....heehee don't judge, I was only four!

I want him to call me at least.This is just a break for me and him.He should enjoy all the work and peace because when I come back after my holiday,I would have more torture methods ready....suggested by Grace.I'm mild compared to her.Let's just say, I'm glad that I'm her friend and not her enemy.

Anyway sometimes he shows me his soft side and I feel like squishing his cheeks.But then he starts acting rude and I  feel like slapping his cheeks.It's hard to know what he is thinking  and the only emotions he shows is anger.There is a 99.99% chance that he will get used to being back to normal and forget me.

"Piya!"

"Grace!"

We yell at each other from across the airport,getting some stink eyes from the people around us.I  squint at her.It's definately Grace.She's still wearing her pyjamas and bunny slippers!She probably just woke up a few minutes ago and rushed to get here.

I walk towards her and glare at her,"You forgot that I was coming today, didn't you!?"

"No,I would never!"she gasps dramatically and I give her the look.The I'm-your-best-friend-I-know-you  look and she smiles sheepishly.

"Okay, I forgot but don't be angry!Your best friend got you something!"

My face brightens up,"What is it!?A present!?A puppy!?A plant!?"

She snorts,"Hell no,the last time I gave you a plant,it died!You brutally murdered it!Do you think that I will trust you with a puppy!?"In my defence,that plant tried to kill me with all those spikes on it's body!

I pout,"Fine,what is it then!?"

She brings me to her car ,"Get in."

As I glance at the back seat after getting in,I squeal seeing the  fast food and desserts.

She grins,"Welcome to paradise!"

I hug her,"Thanks,Grace! You're the best!"

She pats my back sympathetically,"You are looking thin.That man must be starving you with all that healthy stuff!You poor girl!"

I nod,making a sad face."He is ruthless!He even makes me drink protein shakes!"I fib.
She rolls her eyes,"Men and their fitness obsessions!This is why we girls must stick together!Movie marathon?"

I grin,nodding."Movie marathon."

After watching movies about the most awesome ogre  who ever lived,we start drifting off to sleep.In a way,Shrek also reminds me of Aryan!Enough!No thinking of Aryan!This is a strictly no Aryan zone!

Third Pov

After waking up,Piya rubs her sore neck slowly without opening her eyes."Don't tell me that you forgot to wake me up again,Aryan!"she mumbles groggily and then she feels a pillow hit her arm.She opens her eyes to see Grace staring at her and she screams.

Grace starts laughing,"Haha!You should've seen your face,Piya!"

Piya scowls,"You.…!Argh, I'm hungry!"she whines and goes to the room to get ready.Grace smiles and then starts to clean up the living room when she hears a ping.She sees Piya's phone light up and she moves closer.She catches the message,'Is your friend doing better?' and curiosity gets the better of her.She opens the message to see that it's from Piya's husband Aryan and her eyes widen.

07:58am : Did you reach safely?

08 :00am : Is your friend doing better?Is her sickness contagious?

Grace smirks and taps the reply button.Sorry,Piya but I'm shipping the both of you!
