It's the day we go to cliffton hill. I'm so nervous but excited. I hear a honk from outside my house it Doug driving. I jump in the car. Sam, my friend Megan and her boyfriend Justin, and Locke, I sit beside Locke "hey" Locke smiles "hey" I reply "I'm so excited!" Megan says "me too!" Sam replies. "Doug babe ,can you turn on the radio?" Sam asks "sure" He replies. the song our song by Taylor Swift comes on I start sing without realizing. "your voice is beautiful" Locke compliments, I blush "thank you". wraps his arm around me and kisses my cheek.

*20 minutes later*

"We are here!" Doug shouts "yay!" we all proclaim. we exit the car and look at all the lights and arcades and attractions. "Lets go play mini-putt!" Sam yells "your on!" Megan challenges "I will kick your asses!" I joke we all laugh and run inside the glow in the dark mini-putt course" we pay and head off. I go first "I suck at this!" I say "here I will help" Locke replies. he wraps his arms around my waist and holds my hands around the putter and we swing together. I hear giggles "awwwwww!" both Sam and Megan say. they are my best friends so it makes me laugh. Locke smiles and blushes. "My turn!" Sam yells raising her hand. "I will help you" Doug says as he winks at Locke. "awwwww" Megan and I yell. we laugh at each other

When we are done our game, we walk outside. Locke and I hold hands. "Oh my god! We should go in the haunted house!" Megan shouts. "fuck that!" Sam yells "we are doing it" Doug says picking Sam up bridal style and carrying her to the haunted house. the rest of us follow. we walk in pay for our tickets. Locke still holding my hand it is pitch dark. I'm shaking, "are you nervous?" Locke whispers over my shoulder "yes" I reply " well I'm here" he replies sweetly and lightly kisses my neck. he holds my waist and guides me through the doors.

"Oh my god never again ever!" Sam says slapping Megan's arm. It's dark now we head over to the field about 3 blocks from cliffton hill. we all sit on the grass, Megan is laying down with her head on Justin's lap they smile and each other. Sam is on Doug's lap they are kissing. Locke and I are laying down beside each other on the soft grass. He plays with my fingers as we hold hands. we look up and see fireworks light up the sky. " it's beautiful" I say in awh "yeah" he replies he turns his head and kisses my slowly. we break apart, I smile. "every time you smile I see sparks fly" he says sweetly. "I love you, Ashlyn" he finishes "I love you Locke" I reply. this night is sparkling....
