Destiny's Pov

While I was sneaking off Myles' compound I almost ran into another guard of his but managed to slip by. On my way to my house I was distracted by the ringing of my phone, I attempted to answer it but it fell on the floor on the passenger side.

I stretched to pick it up and felt the car swerving, by the time I got up to get the car steady again there was a loud boom and I hit my head on the steering wheel. I was out for a couple minutes, when I came to my sense there was smoke coming out of the hood of the car and a lot of people surrounded me.

They were talking but I could not hear them clearly, my head pounded as I searched my body frantically making sure I was still alive. I laid my hand on my belly to make sure Myles junior was okay.

I felt him move and I silently thanked God.

"Miss are you okay can you move?" someone asked. My hearing was coming back but the pain in my head was getting worse.

"Hey over here the lady is okay and she seems to be pregnant get someone over here now!" another voice bellowed.

"Pleas save-save my baby,' was the last thing I said before completely blacking out.

*BEEP, BEEP, BEEP*

The machines echoed in the empty room as I looked around to see where I was. I tried to remember what happened but as soon as I do there was a sharp pain in my head. A nurse came in just as I laid back down, I felt different there was something off but I could not place my finger on it.

"Hi, glad to see you are awake I will check your vitals and after we will have a talk with your doctor okay she should be here in the next 5 minutes." The nurse says, the way she said that though gave me much concern.

After she took my pressure and re-wrapped my bandage as well as some other bodily checks the doctor came in.

"Hi Destiny, I am doctor Miranda Taylor I am an Obstetrician. I will be taking care of you and the bundle of joy you are carrying. First we need to discuss somethings regarding your baby and your current health situation.

So the baby Is in a very critical position right now caused by the accident we are still monitoring it but if your situation worsens you may need take the baby to save your life.

The machine you are currently on is what is keeping you guys for now but we will check on you very often to make sure you and the baby pull through. I am just giving you all the expectations but I will do my best to make sure you get to see the baby healthy and okay."

I was more angry than sacred after hearing what the doctor was saying, mad at the fact that I Myles' rejection caused me to be all crazy and now my baby's life was in danger.

I broke down and cried as I felt helpless, but as God as my witness if anything happened to my baby I will kill them both. I rubbed my belly and tried to relax not wanting to cause further damage to my child but at the same time thinking of ways to get rid of Promesha.

Natalia's Pov

"Good afternoon is this Natalia Mayor?" the voice asked.

"Yes this is her and who may I ask is calling?"

"This is Joyce Green calling from the University of the West Indies Hospital, we have an Archie Papadopoulos who refereed to you as an emergency contact.

He has been in a moto vehicle accident ad is in critical condition. Are you able to come by as we need your consent to proceed with surgery on his heart. More details will be provided when you arrive Miss Mayor. " the voice said.
