"𝒊 𝒔𝒂𝒘 𝒂 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒈𝒖𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕?"She looked back at her friend with her lips parting away from eachother, she shook her head concentrated on her food, stuffing multiple grains of rice into her mouth to avoid the conversation about to come at her.
"why not? I heard his name is archer that's such a pretty name!" she exhaled, shoving her phone at Olivia's face with an opened Instagram account spelling out archer.
"you...even found his Instragram so fast?" Olivia caughed struggling to breathe at her phone screen, shocked at the stalking ability of her friend.
"doesnt matter...can you please talk to him about me? You're so extroverted and you have connections..."
Olivia shoved another spoon of rice into her mouth, rolling her eyes at the thought of the word 'connections', olivia shrugged up her nose at the smell of food near her, her eyes scanning the room.
She spots a girl eating a box of cut apples, ignoring Sam's requests she walks towards the girl, smelling the air near her,
"hey you. What's your name?" she asks in curiosity, she has never seen the girl infront of her ever in her life before, and she was so noticible for her gigantic height.
"amyrah. Amyrah Sharma"
Amyrah paused for a moment her eyes scanning the distance between the girl infront of her and the apples.
"you want some?" she aggressively reaches her hand full of apples to Olivia's face,
"no. No thanks."
Amyrah smiles biting into the apples calmly looking at her.
"your name is Sam right?"
Olivia moves a bit aback, taking the support of the desk behind her leaning closer to amyrah with a smile on her face,
"no, you got us wrong, my name is olivia."
Amyrah takes in a huge audible gasp,"how can I be this stupid?"a
She shakes her head and countinues
to munch on the Apples"you know that those apples are possibly rotting? They smell really bad"
Amyrah takes a look at her Apples taking the box closer to her nose smelling the aweful scent of the apples
"nah it isn't bad till it's practically dark brown with flies near it"
Olivia awkwardly shifted slightly away, moving back to Sam trying to avoid another conversation, her hands streching out for grabbing a small hold of her lunch.
"olivia are you really going to avoid my request?"
Olivia sighed trying to come with nicer words other than being rude, how could she say that she doesn't want any connections with guys who remind her of chase?
"i'm not ignoring your request Sam, I'm denying it."
Sam shrugged off figments of imaginary dust off her shoulders, taking bites of her food, looking away from olivia with a slight frown forming on top of her lips.
A perfect example of guilt tripping without the use of any words, the silent eating with a sad look on the face. Always works.
"sam don't make that face on me"
Sam looks up at her batting her eyelashes, "please olivia, just once."
Olivia looks away at the wall, somehow still being amused by a wall enough for her brain to be entertained as she gave Sam's words a thought.
Thinking, what if she just text him once, for Sam. And never again. Easy, right?
"i'll think about it"
Those four words were the begining of a new story, a new story where the past plays a major role.
A story which started years ago, but is now beginning to take a turn when olivia and archer first bumped into eachother.
The bell suddenly rings as all the kids in the room began to rush outside, pushing past eachother, olivia and Sam after taking several hits on their shoulder reach out to their classroom.
A merged class?
"well today, there is a workshop..to understand eachother. So.. please take your seats, and make the other class feel welcome."
Olivia takes a seat at the ending corner of the class, behind her being two more empty seats,
And to her suprise the person who took a seat behind her was none other than archer.
She practically face palmed herself mentally, letting out several slurs on her luck.
She could feel sams excitement as her hands kept silently clapping together for no reason,
She kneeled her head down and rested her head gently on the desk to slowly wanting to fall asleep, until she felt someone touch her shoulder, she ignored it.
Again. And again.
Until the fourth time. She finally decided to look back.
But to her suprise it was archer, inches close to her face, holding onto a pen, and half his upper body oh her desk, trying to get hold of the pencil case,
Their faces opposed eachother as her eyes scan the situation.
"i-i was just trying to get my pencil case..i left In the wrong desk.." he silently moved away, taking in soft Breaths.
"could have asked" then a certain memory plays out in her head, the several taps on her shoulder.
She awkwardly looked away wanting to be swallowed alive by the floor. The boy smiles and looks over to his friend, luke.
"Man, she's wierd" he whispered in his ear but his small whispers were audible to her fast ears.
Under her breath she let out several slurs.
"Bitch. Rude ass. Dic-"
The teacher suddenly yelled out her name staring at her with anger filled eyes.
"So you mind repeating what you must have been muttering, to the whole class?"
She gets up confidently, with a small smile plastered across her face,
"Just that this guy behind me is..rude.. arrogant..and... should learn how to whisper properly" she said again. With her eyes on the guy instead of looking at the teacher.
"Where are you manners?" The teachers let out a sigh, sensing the raging tension between archer and olivia, a small scent of the fire burning so they could burn down eachother out of their hatred,
"geez i was kidding"
She looked back before taking a seat
"i don't like jokes out of the mouth of a person I don't know"
She spoke up, this time immediately getting kicked out of the class with archer by the hands of the school representatives.
Her rage filled her mind,
The first day of this year, and it was ruined by this man. She could already hear the screams of her mother and the taunts of her friends.
And Sam likes this man? He's just an idiot with a fast speaking mouth. And a annoyingly handsome face.
