The Con

Tori was in a tight spot. She did not know what to do. She was being forced to marry Mr. West so that her mother could pay for her sisters medical bill.

Her mother Holly got remarried to her late father's partner Gary who she had an affair with long before they even found out that they were together.

"The only way I will pay your sisters medical bill is if you get married to Mr. West,that way Gary can secure a contract for his business" her mother said as Tori sigh.

Her sister Trina had been in a induced coma after being hit by a drunk driver and she flew out of the rear window. It had been almost a month since the accident and her mother have been letting her pay for the bill by herself.

It pained to see her sister lifeless and not see her beautiful smile anymore. Their weekly sister nights and talks was something she missed so much.

Trina was the only living family member she had from her father's side. Their dad David Vega died during a shoot out at a robbery going bad.

"Give me a call when you decided to what you want to do" her estrange mother said and left the room.

Tori sat by her sisters bed, tears running down her face as she looked at her.

"Oh Treen I wish you where awake to give me an answer to what I should do" she said in a low voice as she cried silently.

Tori reluctantly agreed to her mothers demands as long as she promise to help her pay for the medical bill and her mother agreed happily.

The week followed Tori had moved out from her shared apartment to one of the West luxury townhouse in Beverly Hills.

She had help from her best friends Andrè and Robbie. They too had helped Tori with the medical bill with the girls unwillingness but had appreciated the kind guester.

The weekend came and it was time for her wedding. She reluctantly stood there in front of the priest, her mother, Gary and her two best friends.

Mr. West entered the court room office with a beautiful woman her age and two other people.

"Mr. West it's nice to see this union be held" Gary said with a smile and the old man just nodded his head and looked at the bride to be and gave her a small smile.

"Miss Vega, it's finally nice to meet you" he said and gave the back of her hand a kiss.

Tori gave him a forced smile and nodded her head.

"Let me introduce you to my daughter Jade" he said with a wide smile and the raven haired woman smile and shook her hand.

Tori’s heart fluttered and it was beating so fast. The womans beautiful eyes was just magical and she wished her situation was diffrent.

"Shell we start?" The priest asked and Holly said yes and now everyone was taking their place except it was the daughter who was standing beside her and not Mr. West.

"Excuse me but shouldn't you trade places with your daughter" Holly asked but the man just chuckled and shook his head.

"Did you really think that I would marry a young woman who is old enough to be my daughter?" He asked as he looked at the two in front of him.

Everyone in the room was silent.

"I agreed to this proposal for my daughter Jade. She agreed to marry your daughter because she have had an eye on her ever since college" he said with a smirk and this suprised Tori since she did not know who Jade was or that the said woman knew who she were.

Holly and Gary was suprised and Tori felt relieved that she didin’t need to marry a old man who was old enough to be her father.

"If you back out now there won't be a deal" Mr. West said with a stern voice and both Holly and her husband couldn't say anything.
