"Chan hyung! I'm back!!" Jisung entered the house as he looked around the living room, cleaned perfectly as ever.

"Sung? Is that you?" Chan ran out from his bedroom, widening his eyes with the unexpected visit.

The first thing he did was to take Jisung's luggage and check around him for any injuries.

"What... are you doing, hyung?" Jisung frowned as he stared at his elder brother behaving like a maniac early in the morning.

"How come you're here so soon?! Are you hurt?? Where does it hurt? Did someone bully you? What happened--" Chan stopped speaking as he felt Jisung hugging him.

"I'm really okay, hyung. It snowed a lot yesterday and the mountains were dangerous in this cold, so they had to cancel the camp. But the two days taught me a lot, so it's all worth it." Jisung smiled as he pulled from the hug and made his way to his bedroom.

"Breakfast?!" Chan asked as he saw the boy yawning, going straight for his bedroom.

"I need sleep. Go safely to work, whenever you do, and for god's sake, check the label before you put sugar in the pancakes." Jisung spoke as he closed the door shut, making Chan chuckle.

Chan felt happy. He wasn't alone, and Jisung looked better and happier. He was eager to know whatever that happened in the trip, because there was a shine in Jisung's eyes and a glow on his face that was missing for months.

But he did miss someone.

As Jeongin pressed the doorbell of his house, he felt his heart beating so fast, almost jumping out of his chest. He closed his eyes as he imagined the worst case scenario.... he'd probably kill him.

The door suddenly opened as a man in almost his 50s appeared in front of him with dull eyes. As Jeongin looked at him to match his gaze, the dull eyes suddenly widened as the man just pulled him in a hug, saying nothing. No matter how much Jeongin wanted to resist and pull back from the hug, he couldn't.

"I apologize, son. I thought I lost you... I didn't have any of your friends' contacts and you blocked me. I'm sorry I was drunk the day I- the day... everything happened.. I know sorry isn't enough, but I'll make sure to never repeat this. I've quit smoking and drinking... tell me Jeongin, what can I do for you to forgive me?" Jeongin's father spoke as the boy could feel his shoulders wet from tears that were endlessly falling.

Hyunjin finally reached home as he found himself alone at the house, assuming his mother probably went to work.

He had always felt very empty and lonely whenever his mom wasn't at home, but this time... it was different. His thoughts were filled with someone else. Can he even miss someone that much? Why did Hyunjin want to see his face again? Why did Hyunjin want to see him smiling again? Why was his heart beating so fast? Why could he not think about anything else? He shook his head as he prepared a warm shower for himself.

Felix rubbed his hands together to warm them up as cool breeze hit his face. He looked around, wondering why would Changbin call him near the outskirts of the city. He was lowkey scared. Of course he trusted Changbin, but no one could blame him for the overthinking because of Changbin's reputation.

"Boo!" Felix flinched as he saw the boy he was waiting for, laughing at him. He couldn't even be mad at the boy, because now, he was sure that Changbin hadn't stood him up.

"CHANGBIN! YOU SCARED ME, YOU FOOL!" Felix spoke in a totally contrasting tone, not able to hide the relief he felt after seeing Changbin's face, and somehow, the other boy guessed it.

He stepped closer to Felix as he pulled him in a soft hug.

"I would never keep you waiting Felix. When I say I have feelings for you, I'll be the responsible one."

Felix couldn't help but blush as he felt shy to even look in Changbin's eyes.

"W-why did you call me here, at this time though?" Felix asked, pulling off from the hug.

"Are you hungry?" Changbin asked.

"You told me not to eat anything before coming here OFCOURSE I'M STARVING." Felix rolled his eyes as he noticed how he couldn't stop himself from smiling and blushing for no reason.

Changbin grabbed his cold hand and put in inside his pocket as he grabbed Felix closer to him.

"Then let's go."

He walked Felix to a relatively small tteokbokki stall nearby. The vendor, an old lady smiled as her eyes lit up seeing Changbin.

"Changbin! You're here son? Is this your friend?" She asked, warmly gazing at Felix.

"Grandma, he's my boyfriend, his name is Felix." Changbin replied as all Felix could do was shyly smiling and looking at the ground.

"I see, you finally brought someone else with you, he must be really special. The regular order?" She replied as Changbin nodded.

"You don't mind street food, right Lix? We can go somewhere else.." Felix snapped out of some thoughts as he looked at Changbin and smiled, nodding.

"I'm good with it. I prefer street food better." Felix replied as Changbin's eyes lit up to hundred times as they waited for their food.

"Here you go, kids. Enjoy." Grandma handed them the food as they took a seat nearby the stall. Two tteokbokkis along with fish cakes and broth.

"Taste it." Changbin looked lovingly at Felix, who took the first bite and as soon as he did, he couldn't help but close his eyes, the food. was. delicious.

"ITS SO GOOD? How did you even find this place?" Felix looked at him, surprised as Changbin could only chuckle on his cuteness.

"Hmm... you see... my parents... they're not really the most ideal ones out there. I mean, they're nice. They give me whatever I need, and I have never felt the need to ask them for something... except their time. At some point, I always ended up alone, and felt worthless. That's probably the reason I started dating and...got this playboy reputation. I tried to date so many people, but didn't feel like I loved anyone, until I met you." Changbin replied as he looked at Felix.

Oh boy, Felix didn't know where to look, so he just focused on his plate of food.
