I woke up to the ungodly sounds of Nick and George's stream. I couldn't have been asleep for more than 2 hours before the ruckus began. As I woke up I realized that Clay was still holding me tightly in his arms. I flipped over to look at him, I couldn't help but notice how peaceful and content he was. His mouth slightly open, face so relaxed. He looked just as beautiful sleeping as he did awake.
My heart couldn't help but melt at the sight. "Thank you for being you, Clay." I whisper, in fear of waking him up, before placing a soft peck on his forehead. I felt so disappointed that
Nick and George had woken me up, as it's hard for me to fall asleep again after waking up. So I was left in the dark with nothing but my thoughts. I couldn't help but feel a little bit of guilt for freaking out on Clay, although he said he understood, I still feel terrible. I felt like I led him on. I was the one who initiated the kiss which led to it all.
After shaking my bad thoughts, I decided to try to get back to sleep. I adjusted my body into Clay, hurrying my head in his chest, putting my leg over his waist, in the perfect position to listen to his heartbeat. It was soothing enough to finally drift back off. Until.. a soft knock was heard at my door.
After getting up as gently as I could, in hopes Clay would not wake up, I quietly opened my door, and was met with Nick. "Do you know where Clay is? I went into his room and he wasn't there.". Did his friends not even know about our feelings towards each other? How would they react to the fact Clay fell asleep in my bed? Do I tell them? "Uh, yea, he's uh-" Nicks, expression changed, his eyes widened, as the realization set in. "Oh." Was all he said before walking away. What was that about? I take it they didn't know. Oops. I quietly shut the door and crawled back into my bed, cuddling with Clay. I guess they'll be having a conversation tomorrow.
