Lunar Night

--Chapter One--

   It was a winter night, and snow fell heavily at this time of the year. There is probably going to be a lot of snow tomorrow. Nome layed on her bed relaxing, she just finished her exams. A few minutes later her Mom called her for dinner. Nome jumped from her bed and went downstairs to the dining table. Mom has made mashed potatoes, one of Nome's favorite dishes. She sat down as her Dad came too. "Wow! This smells delicious!", Nome sat down eager to eat the mashed potatoes that her Mom made.

After they all sat down they started eating. "Wow hun, this is good. Where did you learn to cook this?", "Oh, I got the recipe from a friend not too long ago". Soon they all finished eating the meal. Nome went back up to her room again. She looked outside her window, it was still snowing. At this rate, the snow will surely reach 3 meters in height. She grabbed a book named "Lunar" It's a popular book about a fairytale of a wolf uncovering the lost history of an abandoned city..

While Nome read the book she looked outside again, the snow had stopped snowing. The sky became clear and the moon was shining bright. Nome looked in awe. She never saw the moon this bright. She decided to go for a night walk.
